Simply Biological Laundry Powder Pods - Pack of 100 Washes

I have ordered these several Times and every time the majority of the pods have burst open in the box. Very messy. Very little soap produced and most items of clothing require a second wash! I will definitely not be ordering again. Far too expensive for what they are

I live in an area of hard water and need to use 3 cubes of powder to get the clothes clean.

I would like to know what problems the pods are causing to my machine and the environment,it is also unclear how many pods too use with a full load

Sad to say this product bleaches dark colours. I’ve lost a pair of trousers and a top to washing in this product.

Was pleased to find these as its quite hard to find a biological eco laundry powder.Needed something to wash cloths,aprons and tea towels from our veggie cafe,was using another non bio eco brand and although fine for normal everyday stuff,was nt really working as I wanted to on the cloths.Happy to say these did the job well,it all came up clean and fresh.There is a slight sent to these sachets(if you want a more gentle wash with no scent I think the Pure in this range is the ones to use) but this is really subtle and very nice,perfect as I hate those overwhelming fragrances,especially on my tea towels.These have great credentials too,vegan,no animal testing,biodegradable,and made in the uk.The scientists use this brand at Scott Base a research center in New Zealand about Antarctica,because of its purity.Will use these also on sons PE kit,and whites.Now really want to try the Simply Non Bio,or the Pure.100 washes will last me over three months.

I was very surprised that they do not lather the way other Laundry powder/Tabs do, but, they really clean well! I personally only use ONE Tab, and so far this seems to be fine. But i'm sure that TWO could be added for those really tough stains. But you can however, soak the garment with the Tab and then use the water from soaking into the washing machine to wash with the other garments!Go on, give em a go!!

If you have a double capacity 12kg washing machine and live in a hard water area, then triple or quadruple dosage of detergent is the norm. As well as a soda crystals prewash for any extra dirty clothes. I dislike artificially scented detergents and have been using soap nuts for some years. Dosage is difficult to get right with soap nuts and results often vary. I use four of these tabs as the standard dose and get reliable results with only a subtle scent. I still have to use the soda crystals prewash for the worst clothes, but the convenient dosage and results are worth the switch for me.
