This is my first time buying a better quality knife and I have found it very good to use. The knife comes in a protective sleeve for storage and is very sharp. I managed to nick my finger near the handle through carelessly picking up the knife - never a problem with my old blunt knives! The extremely sharp edge does need to be periodically honed because it does dull after usage. I currently use a steel for this purpose but will probably need to use a wet stone at some stage. No complaints so far and pleased with the purchase.

I must say I was pleasantly surprised when I received this knife and immediately sliced my finger when cleaning it. It is definitely sharp, so be careful! But as long as you keep digits out of the way it is a durable, high quality knife that will have you chopping like a pro.

I did quite a lot of research in knives and this is by far the best one on Amazon for your daily chef knife needs. My IKEA one got a little bit dull after two years and this one is by far my new favorite.
