This dock was designed specifically for the Steam Deck and is advertised as such as indicated in it's description. However, it can be used with many tablets. I had heard via the web that this was possible so I decided to give it a try. AT the time of purchase I was using an older(slower) 7" tablet as a separate streaming device running Android. I couldn't have been happier. Once I got a suitable USB splitter cable to divide the power and audio I was in business. This dock is simple and has just the right amount of connectivity options. The ones I wanted and needed. I was going to connect a wireless mouse and at times a keyboard to aid in navigation and input. Since the tablet tray is wider than most tablets, I had to fashion a piece of hard foam to help support the back of the tablet providing a good viewing angle and stability. The foam worked for me, but wood, or plastic material - cut to size - should work as well. In fact, a couple wood shims glued together would work equally as well. When I replaced the smaller 7" Android device with a newer one with a larger form-factor and screen (11"), I wondered if the dock's hardwired USB-C connecting cable would reach the new tablet cleanly. It did - perfectly. It worked fine since the tablet I was using had the USB-C post in the side and the secondary device is in landscape positioning. All but uber larger tablets should work. YMMV. I did have to purchase a different USB splitter cable that would work with both the new tablet as well as route audio from the dock to a 3.5mm(1/8"). Now all is connected up and working great. Just as I wanted it to do. :) If you need or want this unique functionality, this is a true value deal. Would purchase again.

The dock was good when It worked, but I went to plug it in to Steam Deck recently and it didn't work. Despite just sitting on a shelf most of the time I've had it, the docking cable somehow stopped working consistently. I barely got it to work for a few minutes before the cable shifted and it stopped. I could not get it to connect again after that. I did use it with both my Steam Deck and phone, so the cable has been shifted to plug into both devices which could cause some wear. But my other dock at my desk (not Ugreen) has done been used the same way and worked fine for 3 years. I'm disappointed in this since other ugreen products I've bought have been great, but this one just didn't last.

This dock is nice! I'm using it for my Asus ROG Ally. I also purchased the Ugreen 100 watt USB C PD adapter, along with some 100 watt capable USB C cables. Unfortunately, as of 6/21/23, like nearly every 3rd party dock/ power supply, 30 watt turbo mode does not enable. 25 watt turbo does however. Many people are thinking this is related to software, as I haven't heard of ANY 3rd party adapters letting 30 watt turbo enable. So, I'm hoping Asus provides an update soon. One small thing I love about this dock, which I took for granted at first, is it has a 2nd USB C port in the back. It has came in handy a few times already as I've needed to plug in devices that only use USB C. The Ethernet port works great, all ports work great. Maybe the only thing I wish this had was a micro SD slot, and a display port plugin. If I really wanted the dock to have micro SD, I could just buy an adapter. As far as display port, it's really hard to find affordable docks with that, and honestly HDMI is just fine in my opinion.

It worked well for about 2 months. Monitor no longer works from HDMI port. Go with a more expensive unit

No picture because my desk is a complete disaster, but I have a Steam Deck with a thick case on it to protect it. If it wasn't for the mount I have on the back for my battery (a tablet wall holder) or had it a little higher it would fit PERFECT, even still it sits in there snugly. I actually bought this for my daughters' Rogs for Christmas, I cannot test the Rogs on it but it should work fine. I turned on my Steam Deck and it looks and runs beautiful on my PC monitor, should look great on our tv too, but we have an older TV. I love how compact it is for travel and that its built with plug to easily slot into the deck without bending. I may actually have to buy another one for myself.

Peço perdão pela quantidade de fios nas fotos! Mas o dock é muito bom, cumpre o que promete e é um ótimo custo benefício pra quem quer jogar na TV. Liguei tanto meu mouse quanto meu controle Dualshock por USB e funcionaram perfeitamente, ao mesmo tempo que a dock carregava o Ally e entregava 30w (potência máxima). Usei o carregador original. Além disso, ele é bem pequeno e portátil, pelo menos cabe na case Aolion que comprei. Gostei muito!

J’ai été agréablement surpris par cette station d’accueil pour Steam Deck. Le produit inspire immédiatement confiance : la construction est robuste, les matériaux sont de qualité, et rien ne fait “cheap”. Une fois branchée sur le secteur et connectée à la télé, il suffit d’ajouter un clavier et une souris, et votre Steam Deck se transforme en véritable petit ordinateur de bureau. Idéal pour le jeu, mais aussi pour la bureautique ou le multimédia. Ce que j’ai particulièrement apprécié, c’est la simplicité d’installation : tout fonctionne plug & play, sans prise de tête. Le design est discret et s’intègre bien dans un setup gaming ou bureau. Le rapport qualité/prix reste excellent. On obtient une solution solide, pratique et accessible pour exploiter tout le potentiel de la Steam Deck sans exploser son budget.

初代rog allyで安定して使えています。UGREENは期待を裏切らないですね。

Works well as a dock. Fits steamdeck with Jsaux case but case stand needs to be fully extended for steamdeck to rest comfortably on stand.

Aunque el producto no es exacto para una Asus Rog Ally le queda muy bien, funciona muy bien. OJO, no te vaa a dar el modo turbo ya que mecesitas un cargador de 100w, pero te levanta fácil cualquier juego con 25w de TDP. Lo que sí no me gustó tanto es que cuando lo conecto a mi pantalla por el hdmi y después conecto el cargador al dock, la consola se desconecta de la pantalla y vuelve a conectarse, es algo un poco molesto, de ahí en fuera es muy buena compra.
