Blue Sea Systems AC/DC Digital Meters

I installed this to replace my analog Hertz meter which had long since become defunct. No cutting required on the board since it uses the same circular hole as the analog meter did. Lots of wiring options for different power configurations.

New in original blister packaging, great volt/amp multimeter, nice features, ±0.5% accuracy for voltage and current, big & bright display, quality current shunt (looks like a Deltec). All this for 1/3 the MSRP cost or 1/2 what other Amazon sellers were asking.

Just installed unit today. Installation was straightforward, the shunt being the most time consuming. Has a dimmer and alarm built in. Easy to program!! Very accurate!! Easy to read!!

Easy to install, good clear instructions, works as advertised

Works as expected. Bought this as a replacement for one that was going out. Easy to install in 10 minutes. The downside, the coil only lasts about a year. We have had this type unit for four years. Every year we have to replace the coil. It is sold separately, is not that expensive but we feel it should last more than a year (actually, about 10 months). For the price, I think I would shop for a different brand. Unfortunately, we are stuck with this one for now but hope we can either help others or maybe the company will read this and fix the coil issue.
