These are great. Offering great sturdiness in use, good fit, easy to use, look good, decent Functionality means you can Use them for most jobs which gives good value for money.

These long plugs hold really well in thermolite style blocks. Well worth the extra cost to be confident that fixing is are secure.

Good reliable plug

Excellent quality wallplug. Needed these long wallplugs as I was using 6mm x 65mm stainless steel screws to fit grabrails in a shower. Needed a good grounding due to likely force being applied. These are a fantastic product which can be used in masonry or stud and fit neatly into the specified 8mm bored holes (requiring a gentle tap-in - masonry) ensuring a good tight fit and firm grip for screw.

If you live in a new build with dot & dab / thermalite blocks these are great, but you need to install them correctly. Use multi-construction drill bits (eg, Bosch TCT), don't use hammer action as it makes a mess of thermalite. Use the correct size screw or it will be useless. The 8x65 plugs require at-least 5mm (no. 10) screws and should be slightly longer than the plug itself.

I love these and the best wall plugs I have used. Really good grip and a great addition to my tool kit. Not no issues after doing my kitchen and bathrooms. Highly recommended.

fit as per box instructions. Use 8mm masonry drill. Plugs fit nice and tight. Used M5 diameter screws to hold battens to wall. Drilled in excess of 100 holes and every fixing held.

These anchors work extremely well with either US #12 or #10 screws that are 3in long. The screws snugged up very tightly in these anchors when used in exterior brick/mortar materials. The box instructions are in metric and say to use an 8mm diameter hole - but I used a 5/16" drill bit (~7.9375mm) instead and they worked great!

Los tacos Fisher eran muy buenos, no hacia falta mejorarlos, pero sacaron estos, los rojos y ya lo han bordado, si los usas con el tornillo recomendado por ellos el resultado es que la balda o armario no se moverá en la vida. Pero lo mejor las versiones largas de los tacos, es que si ya tienes una agujero de 8mm y tenias un taco de 30-40mm cogiendose al primer tabiquillo del propio ladrillo, con las versiones largas llegas al segundo y el taco ya tiene 2 puntos de apoyo, como ocurre con este taco de 8x65 y un tornillo 5x80 como mínimo. (Cosa que no siempre ocurría con el normal 8x40) y te evitas tener que haber el agujero mas grande para poner un taco de 10, que a veces no soluciona el problema. En pa pagina de fisher indican el tornillo recomendado para cada taco, vale la pena mirarlo, los resultados son excepcionales.
