3.9' is longer than 1 meter and obviously longer than 3' so it's a bit longer than other short DMX cables which is nice most of the time.I got them to connect lights that are grouped together and they work.Quality seems fine. If they last I will be completely satisfied with this purchase.

So I bought these because I bought some drum mics. So the drum mics came with cables but hey you can never have too many XLR cables. I love that they have Velcro straps and honestly they are quite sturdy and well made. Coming back to these guys for XLR cables and so should you! 5 stars

The cables work as intended. They arrived on time and in appropriate packaging. What else can I say, their cables. I’ll know more about durability over time.

These seem sturdy and we'll made. They even have Velcro ties attached. Work well daisy chaining dmx fixtures in my application. They are also inexpensive win/win!

I've been using these for about 3 weeks now on a pretty extensive mobile lighting truss. To date I've had no issues at all. They do what they're supposed to do. Fixtures are spaced close together on the truss, so 1m cables are a necessity to avoid too much unused slack having to be stored within the truss.I knocked off one star because the cable they use is rather on the lightweight side compared to my other DMX cables. Lightweight cable is more prone to failure after many uses. No, I have not experienced any failures yet. But doing so many one-nighters is hard on any cable, which is why I like to have plenty of spares. It's also easier on the cables if they aren't used every show, thus the benefit of having more than enough so they get rotated naturally.The XLR connectors themselves feel solid and sturdy and are made of metal. Please note that some reviewers imply that XLR is a mic cable. It is not. XLR refers to the CONNECTOR, not the cable, and the difference between DMX and mic cable is in the CABLE, not the connector they both share.My other issue with these was the manner of packaging. The cables were wound VERY tightly and pressed into a box just barely large enough to hold them all. Tight, sharp bends on cable is NOT good for them. Although they come with a tie-wrap, they should NOT be stored as shipped. One or two loose loops are sufficient, it should not be bent too sharply for maximum longevity.

I am new to lighting so I was shocked that XLR DMX is different than XLR audio. After reading about the difference I ordered these. So far no issues.

i’m just starting to build my light systems and have been purchasing quality, long cables to maximize their potential uses. As i continue adding to my lighting library, i was happy to come across this set of short DMX cables. The long cables are great when we need them but are a pain of lots of extra cord all over the stage when you don’t. This set of shorter cables is much more stage friendly and elimimates such unnecessary bulk. also realizing there’s no need for every component purchased to be the highest end. Cables are an area you can have a mix of quality, lengths, uses. This set helped round out my overly unnecessary high end set of equipment.So They’re not the highest quality, nor are they priced as such. They are actually priced cheap but are NOT low quality. In fact, quality wise they are mid grade. So THIS IS A BARGIN! I have other cables of this caliber that cost twice as much. Will these last as long as my high end? No of course not, but my good cables were literally seven times the cost of these so why would anyone expect that? For the price, you get a quality product that with realistic and fair expectations should leave anyone please enough with this great set. Overall: recommend

I ordered this cable set for my home recording studio and lighting applications, so I decided to try the CZGOR brand. The cables seem sturdy enough if treated properly. The cables are well-constructed and flexible enough to be used with many audio applications. The cable ends work well and are not too tight or loose in my patchbays. The cables have sufficient shielding, so I was not getting any signal interference. This test was significant since DMX cable tends to have less shielding.It may not mean much to some, but each cable came with a strap to properly roll them up for storage.Just remember that generally, DMX cables are used for lighting, while XLR cables are used for analog audio. You can technically use DMX cable for audio, but only in some cases. In general, it’s not advised. DMX has a higher impedance than XLR. An XLR cable uses a different signal than DMX is built to handle. There are some instances where you can use them interchangeably, but again, it’s not advised or recommended.DMX cables aren’t built with the same shielding, so noise interference might become an issue for some applications. I noticed the pictures and information for this product mentioned using these for audio, which is not normal, so I was very interested in giving the cables an extensive test. Overall, I was surprised and did not have any noise or discernable audio issues. I have tested them for over 20 hours in my studio and found no issues with audio quality.If you are looking for some DMX cable for lighting or some patchbay connectors, you may want to check these out.
