Works just as well as a glass carboy, and you don't have to worry about glass. Neck is sturdy and seals well. I've used it several times and it doesn't seem to scratch and does not stain.

This carboy is the right size to do a full batch of wine. It is extremely light in weight but tough also. We are working on a batch of wine right now and it is doing exactly what it should do. I am happy that it is light weight as the glass ones are very heavy and slippery. Very happy so far.

Very lightb but. Need to order no - 10 bung for this bottle or buy as set.

Arrived with heavy dents and creases already in the cheap, thin plastic. Spout is not the standard size so to use it you need to also order a #10 bung. I'll be returning it since one of the creases looks like it may have punctured the plastic and I don't want to run the chance of a leak.
