Q: Sir, in the specifications it says 500 watt's, then can you use a 2700 watts steam iron box and you say the transformer out put 5000 watts if so ok.

You cannot use a 2700 watt iron with a 500 WATT transformer. On top of it the heating appliances have a power spike of about 3 times.

Q: The photo shows only a 110V grounded plug. Does this come with an adapter for transforming 220v to 110v? I am traveling from USA to Germany and need to be able to plug this in to a German 220v receptacle with 110v 60 cycle output. Will this work?

There's a switch in the back where you can select the input voltage, either 110V or 220V. In Germany, you would switch it to 220V. Then, plug your US device into the output voltage of 110V in the front. Please note that this is quite a bit heavier than travel transformers that are popular for temporary use.However, this transformer does not change the Hz from 50 to 60 or vice versa. In Europe, it's only 50 Hz, so this transformer can only take down the voltage to 110V but does not increase the cycles to 60 Hz.You may already know this, but many devices like your cell phone/camera charger, laptops, and shavers are already 100-240V 50/60 Hz and usable worldwide with the appropriate $2 adapter plug. Just carefully check the label.

Q: Can I use this transformer for adapter to a Aconditioner air?

No. It doesn't have the power to run an AC. This is really more for lamps, computers and small appliances. ACs draw a ton of power and would burn this up.

Q: I understand that it doesn't convert frequency, but I have lots of appliances with motors that run on 60hz. what are the negative results if it works?

A rated at 60 Hz will run slower on 50 hz Our Washing Machine ran fine just took longer to finish.
