I needed to glue a shoe sole to an existing shoe as my legs are different lengths. A cobbler suggested rubber cement for securing my height, which I did use for part of my reconstruction. It was a mess and took 3 days to dry. I used Gorilla Glue for my final sole and it was fabulous and dried in 2 hours. I also used it to glue rock to rock and for a jewelry repair. Everyone in the world should have this product. If you keep the spout clean and put on the cap, it will be ready for the next project. Who doesn't need to attach something to another thing? I believe it will work for anything.

I purchased this glue to repair a very expensive oven top grill rack with rubber pads. I was concerned that I would not find a glue to fix this damage part because it is rubber and any glue other than rubber cement was not going to work. I first applied the glue to the surface of the torn piece to reattach to the grill plate. It did not work, the torn part just came right off after holding it in place for a couple of minutes. Because I have experience with CA glue (Cyanoacrylate Glue) you have to apply a small amount of catalyst to the surface of anything you want it to hold permanently first. I applied a small amount of pencil graphite and baking soda combined as a powder on the surface of the grill and a dab of B680 Special Rubber Adhesive to the torn part and held it in place together for a minute… FIXED!!! So, treat this glue like super glue “CA - Cyanoacrylate Glue” when applying it to your fix-it jobs and you will not be disappointed.

I purchased a 2010 Ford F-150 about 6 months ago. When I bought it, I knew the column shifter boot was torn. I tried to replace it, but I was amazed how difficult it was to buy a replacement online and I did not feel it warranted paying the dealer price. So, I tried multiple methods to repair the tears with little to no success. Then, I decided to buy this rubber cement about 1 month ago and so far, so good. It is holding up to the heat of a Florida summer and being black color, it blends in perfectly with the black colored boot. If the cement fails at a later date, I will update my review, but very satisfied at this time.
