It's not like a shampoo, it is a liquid dressing which is applied after shampooing and drying your hair. It is supposed to help prevent hair loss, and stimulate growth. I find it a good grease-free dressing for hair control.

The energizer is used as a supplement . not as a regrowth cure. I have used this product on and off over the last few years. it is not a miracle cure. the caffeine content is meant to strengthen the hair roots, therefore, helping to stop hair loss .. I first noticed that I was not washing out quite so much after a few washes . and I think has helped to stem the tide. the best time to use it is after shampooing when the pores are open .and the liquid can penetrate the scalp. hope this has been a help to you. and remember baldies are all in nowadays. apparently. good luck
