4 Pack AA Rechargeable Lithium Batteries+ Charger

I use these in my Roland AX-Edge instead of the recommended NiMH batteries. They work fine but the battery life seems shorter than I expected. UPDATE: I ordered a second set and one of the batteries would not charge. Returned that set and ordered a third set. Initially, 2 of the third set did not charge at first but after a few minutes began to charge to I chalked it up to a fluke. 7 of this third set are working fine now after a month but the 8th battery in this set still refuses to charge at first but begins to charge after 2-10 minutes. It doesn't seem to depend on the charger position so I'm sure it's the battery. Too late to return this set but am wishing I had 1 or 2 spare batteries in case this bad one and perhaps others go completely bad at some point.

I bought this Deleepow battery charger with Deleepow AAA batteries in 2020. The batteries really last for a while, and I have only use this battery charger to charge the batteries (came with this particular charger) two times since 2020. Today, this battery charger has already stopped working completely. These batteries can only be charged with this type of battery charger, that means I now can’t even use the batteries! I recommend you guys to buy well-known battery brands, such as Energizer, Panasonic, which are more expensive but will last for decades. Don’t waste your money on this brand!

Pretty good value for the money, doesn't last as long as alkaline batteries in my experience with two different brands so far, but it's a pretty good alternative to disposable batteries and dealing with them. I've been using them in a wireless keyboard and mouse now for several months, having a second set charged up is nice when the Li Ion batteries go from working to cut off pretty quickly. For the price though, they will easily outlast the same money spent in disposable alkaline batteries. I recommend these types of batteries. I have not tried to use them yet in a high drain application, so I can't vouch for them in that use application.

There are many rechargeable batteries on Amazon, but many are out of stock. I use Amazon’s alkaline batteries, but I wanted some rechargeable AAs. I found these because they were in stock, and I am glad I picked them! These are rated 3200mWh vs. Amazon’s rechargeable AAs at 2000mWh. What will that do for you? Well, they will last longer. Every year, Apple gives presentations on how they are able to get longer-lasting batteries and larger capacities. Capacity is rated in milliwatt-hours (mWh). The larger the number within the same battery class, ie. AA, AAA, C, D, the longer your devices should run. These should be roughly 60% longer lasting than Amazon’s batteries. Obviously it depends on the device and how much it pulls, but usually, this is how it works. I really enjoy the USB interface, I wish it was USB-C, but this will do. I have so many USB devices, this is helpful since I do not have to worry about losing another bulky power adapter. You should enjoy this as well. They charged in less than two hours. The higher the mWh, the longer it should take to charge. The self-discharge isn’t bad. These AAs will retain upwards of 80% battery life after 12 months. Basically that means, if you charge these and don’t use them for 12 months, they should still have more battery life than a fully charged Amazon AA. There are SOOO many devices that need these, I am just happy I was able to find some that worked for me! I hope they work for you too!

Charger okay. Batteries are a failure, period. The charger works, a few batteries do, but (I ordered an extra pack of 4) 1 in 4 have failed in 2 uses. That's beyond disgusting. Having worked as a quality engineer, 1 is a random failure, 2 it's a systemic failure in quality. Failures in consumer items like this should be 1 in many hundreds, that it happened in first use means the items are arriving with systemic problems. I have a bunch of Energizer NiMH 2300mwh batteries and decided to try Li Ion because of the longer charge life, as well as the higher capacity rating, but mostly because they can sure in the shelf charged for a few months and still have a high percentage of charge - liked my Hulkman car jump start unit. The main intended use for these is headlamp, as in seeing where I'm walking in the evening when it's dark (street lights don't cover the sidewalks well and incoming vehicles complicate that). I want to be able to confidently put one in the headlamp, an extra one in my pocket and head out for a couple of hours if light exercise. A single Energizer lasts 5 or 6 hours on bright/high setting. Only 3 in 7 so far have gone 3+ hours, one lasted 1 hour and 2 have failed to charge back up at all. I think one didn't work at all, and I thought maybe I didn't charge it but it wouldn't charge so it must have been dead from the start. Compare that to 8 Energizers over 1.5 years with zero failures. So at least NiMH batteries don't have the awful shortcomings of NiCad batteries of before the mid 90s or so when NiMH devices came out. I used to use them for hiking in the Adirondack and Catskill mountains in long all day hikes that finished after dark (12 hours). We had only incandescent headlamps back then so the batteries drained quickly but I remember the Energizers didn't fail and they were only 1600mah as I recall. I used enough that they wore out after a few years, about the time unaffordable LEDs first appeared - and I went to other parts of the world for work reasons, but upon returning, older and less inclined to do serious hiking, switched to all (very affordable) LED lamps and new batteries. Thus the purchases. My house has Li Ion powered smoke detectors that last 19 years, and the are rechargable Li Ion batteries, so why not try them? Well, I still need to find a reliable source and it's clear that isn't Deleepow. Don't buy, wasting money. I also tried a few of each, these new ones and the existing, older, Energizers, to see how long they lasted on a charge - while I have several routes they are all about the same length, not significantly different in time (1:45 to 2:00). Given the 2300 versus well over 3000 ratings, you'd think they would show different usage times. Nope. If anything the Energizers, desire being used more and older, lasted as long or longer before fading. Oh - normal use is to only drain them 50%, and they don't need the old NiCad draining. Modern chargers, kind of like cell phones, do very low level trickle charging once the batteries are charged and I've found that the NiMH ones can safely sure in the charger for a day while at work with no harm. As for these new ones, I'm not about to check every hour or so to see the status, the multi device USB charger is in a corner out of the way (shelf space) but easy to load and use, just not as handy as the wireless phone charger is. The phone is charged a lot, daily or more, batteries not so much as I do them in pairs. So that's my take on these, only 1 star.

I acquired these to use in applications that require AA cells, but require frequent replacement. I have been using NiMh rechargeable AA batteries in these applications. Compared to either an alkaline or NiMh or comparable capacity, these cells are a big disappointment. They DO supply a solid 1.5V consistently, but then stop abruptly without warning, as output is cut by an internal circuit that stops operation. WIth NiMh batteries, voltage begins to sag, signaling need for recharge, but the battery continues to provide output. These cells also do NOT last nearly as long as other chemistries in any application I've tried. I believe that the 3400 mW/h (approx.2300 MaH) is grossly overstated. I would not recommend these batteries unless the user is prepared to charge them frequently and their unpredictable and sudden drop in voltage is acceptable in an application.

9v batteries have been relegated to antiquated electronics as AAs rise in popularity and built-in rechargeable batteries become the new norm. However regardless of the trend, there's always going to be some electronics that work perfectly fine with the older style batteries. If you don't need to replace it, why bother? I'm glad these "retrofits" exist. I can't be bothered to spend $3-4 for a single 9v one-time-use disposable batteries. Even though it lasts a while, I find it unnecessary. Moving into the 21st century, we can now buy rechargeable 9v batteries that simply require micro USB to rechargeable. Better for the environment and simply more convenient. These batteries work exactly as promised. The battery charge measures at 9v and seems to last a while. The charge is quick and the capacity is large. No problems so far. The convenience of the micro USB port means I don't have to worry about getting a separate charger for something I don't use often. The size is identical to my disposable 9v battery. The LED indicator makes it easy to tell when it's charging and when it's full. Glad to get something like this for a good price. Hard to beat Li-Ion cell density.

This is a 4 year review as I bought these for my son’s Xbox controller. He has charged these hundreds of times over the years that he’s had them. He told me he is still getting 4-6 hours of play time with a set. The great thing is, it’s included usb charger can plug right into the Xbox and that means he always has a fresh set to switch out whenever they die. For the cost of 4 batteries with the charger included is unbeatable in my opinion. I know he’ll be really disappointed when these finally die because you won’t ever really know the longevity of the replacement set. I’ll try these first for sure.
