The recipes are great and the instructions are really helpful when you get the ninja second hand.

Good selection of recipes. You may have to adjust your cooking time depending on your Air Fryer’s heating efficiency.

When I first ordered this, I noted some reviews indicating that they recipes were untested. One reviewer indicated that food burned, and timing was off. I first thought some of these reviews have made a programming error or cooking error, so I ordered anyway. However, trying to make my first dish "Spiced Lemon Whole Trout" I'm now thinking the maybe the author doesn't even own the Ninja Foody Smart XL Grill. The setup instructions they give to start making the dish won't fit together. If the author owned this grill, they would have known that.Page 93 reads "5. Arrange the lightly greased "Grill Grate" in the crisper basket in the cooking pot of the Ninja Foodi Smart XL Grill." This step is not doable as the grill grate won't fit in the crisper basket either upside down or right-side up. That doesn't inspire confidence on my part that these recipes were even tried or that the author owns this grill. I think I need to return this, and I no longer trust the source in that there are problems with the very first recipe that I'm trying to make. See my photo that shows the setup instructions are flawed. Perhaps some of the other reviewers were right after all.

Calling something "well edited" means it must be actually well edited. The book is very repetitive & cook times must not be used unchecked. This cost me a couple of burnt meals.

So many recipes seem like variations of the same thing. Not very creative and very few interested me.

The book was in black and white and the recipes were equally drab. Don't waste your money on this one.

This cookbook does not deliver in my opinion. Well edited??? I found a lot of mistakes in this cookbook and I only scratched the surface of it, because I requested a return. Do yourself a favor and spend the money for the original cookbook for the Ninja Foodie Grill!

I would not purchase again or recommend. It’s like newspaper and cheap. Much better options out there. Cover is in color but pages are black and white.
