So far, it's proved a very good microphone. Easy to set up, not software nor driver to install. The microphone is too quiet by default for it to be placed on a desk (instead of infront of the mouth), but I found that increasing the gain in the system settings to 120% fixed that small issue. The microphone has a sensible size and a reassuring weight. The audio pass through can double as a high quality audio out if you turn the dial to 100% desktop audio. The mute button is visually responsive and light to press. All in all, for a USB condenser microphone it's great value.

Very much worth the money. Easy to use and set up instantly with Windows. Everything needed for online sound. Great build quality. Dont need a pop shield unless you use them close up. Have a long usb cable if you need one

The Sennheiser Profile USB Microphone delivers excellent noise rejection while maintaining a very natural and balanced sound. With the right software configuration, it shines as an ideal choice for streaming or podcasting. Easy to use and built with Sennheiser’s trusted quality, it’s a reliable option for anyone looking to upgrade their audio setup.

I should start by saying that I am no voiceover artist or audio professional, but I needed a mic that I could use over Zoom/Teams, etc. I'm so impressed with the Sennheiser Profile. I watched quite a few comparative YouTube videos (as is my way) before purchasing it, but you never really know until you receive something, whether it'll live up to expectations, but this mic certainly has. It is literally a plug-n-play microphone, out of the box, plug it into my laptop and I was away. Don't forget to pop into the Zoom settings to help it recognize your new mic (I spent 5 minutes trying to figure out why I could hear the other person but they couldn't hear me until I worked that one out, but that's my issue, not the mic's). Everyone's commented on how crisp my voice sounds now, no background noise, just clear audio. The YouTube video's I'd watched gave me guidance on how far away the mic should be and the settings it should be at (essentially, unless you're a professional, all the dials on the front can be at their center points). If I had to be picky, the one issue I had with it is that it comes with a USBC to USBC cable and my laptop does not have a USBC port, but I happened to have a USBC to USB cable here to I just used that instead. So, in summary, great mic, surprisingly affordable, happy customer!

After doing some research, this microphone seems to be recommended as the microphone for people who don't really know much about microphones, which is a camp I fall into. To my untrained ears, it sounds really good, and the controls are better than a lot of others that I looked at. Also very good at sound rejection - handling the microphone while it's recording doesn't seem to bother it that much, and it handles plosive sounds very well without pop shields etc (although obviously, that's also a characteristic of the speakers voice). I'm sure someone who's trained in audio stuff could find a better microphone for this is good for amateurs at least.

The Sennheiser Profile USB microphone is an excellent choice of microphone for a great price. I bought this microphone to use for my Podcast and my One-to-one work. The sound is brilliant, feedback is spot on, solid build quality and the fact that you can separate it from its base means it would work perfectly with adjustable microphone stand. I would highly recommend this microphone to anyone that wants a near studio quality experience without having to spend too much money.

Niestety firma Sennheiser ostatnio bardzo obniżyła jakość i wprost przyznaje, że jej tańsze sprzęty psują się bardzo szybko. Cóż - kapitalizm. Ale ten mikrofon nie jest tańszy, więc po pewnym czasie używania wszystko jest z nim ok.

This microphone is great, super fast and easy plug and play with everything you need on the microphone but the only thing is when using the ps5 you have to use the headphone audio jack because it keeps switching but maybe with some playing around in the settings you could fix that and i highly recommend a microphone arm if your in a loud environment then turn the mic volume down it blocks out tv noise and has a quick mute button so if your dad is yelling at your brother to do his work that has been due for 6 weeks and just starting on now non of your friends will hear it
