Kills flying insects, durable, great value for money

We use this bug zapper in our RV. We leave it plugged in 24/7 just in a corner. I will hear it a few times a day zap so I know it has attracted something. I am not sure how long it will last plugged in all the time but so far its great. The light at night with the purple is kinda of calming. Man once in a while it will catch a big fly and it will zap zap zap and burn a bit which then stinks but it mostly catches a lot of the little nats that fly around.

i liked the different modes this bug zapper could be used in, that was its best feature. it did just fine last yr i bought it in june then put away in sep. i didn't have it on all the time but in the month of june i used it a lot (flies) then maybe one day a week after that until september. its not super strong but its usually (not always tho) enuf to keep flies down if it doesn't kill them. it works for moths as well the 1" ish size. one thing i didn't like about it is that the frame keeps you from being able to zap something on the floor. i don't like bug guts on my shoe/floor but if you try to lay this over a bug it will not make contact, don't like that limitation. overall tho, i liked it very much till i pulled it back out this may and it worked one day, then next day not. the usb port fell out so there's no way to charge it now which is why its not working. pretty cheap stuff considering how little usage it got, would not recommend for that reason.

I like this swatter compared to another brand that is round shaped. It does come in 2 pieces but you just push them together and no tools are involved. The top half has flown off a couple times when swinging really hard. It has more lights and bigger surface. I used this during camping also where the was a bunch of wasps flying around wherever we cooked or ate. I wish the inner mesh where they get zapped was more smaller. I have small mosquitos and when I try to zap them, they just go right through half the time. Hopefully in future revisions they'll have smaller mesh on the inside. I don't really like the bigger push button switch that's on the handle either. If you completely drain the battery and have it on the on position while charging, it will not charge. You have to turn it off, then charge for a while before turning it on if you want to leave it on over night. Other than that it's the best electric swatter that I've tried so far.

Works well and the silly UV led do actually draw bugs. Let it sit in the charger stand turned on and it’ll take care of little gnats or flies. Handheld it zaps mosquitos just fine!
