I bought this as a gift for my daughter who loves scarfs. My choice was influenced by the added luxury of wool. In a nutshell my daughter absolutely loved it. For me that's a five star review well deserved.

This is a very good scarf, but I wish I'd bought the longer version that costs £4 more and is about a foot longer. I tie a common knot that requires the scarf to be folded in two lengthways to make a loop at one end that the other fringed end is fed through. This scarf is only just long enough for this. I've learned that I need something around 165 CM long and not 134, as this one is. The attractive £11 price catches the eye, as it is no doubt intended to do, and I should have searched more deeply. If you just wrap or loop the scarf around your neck, it should be fine, but I think I'd still pay the extra for the longer version. It's still good value. Search under 'Dunedin scarf' and you'll get all the options, including one for £15 that contains 90% lambs wool and 10% cashmere. I've now bought three scarves from this company (two for presents) and they're good quality. The company is based in Edinburgh and they're reliable. The lambs wool feels soft and pleasing to the touch. I bought 'Bannockbane Navy', a pleasing combination of colours that goes well with my brown jacket. The colour representation on the site is pretty good, but understandably not exact. I haven't had any unpleasant surprises.
