you have to assemble this couch? if so how many pieces are there? i'm asking because i didn't know if it would fit through the door way

The pieces ship out in one box, it arrives in multiple pieces such as the backrest, left/right armrest, the seat, seat cushion(s), and the 4 legs. Including the tools to put together and the assembly guide. The box dimensions are 58.00 x 26.50 x 24.00

Are those dimemsions accurate? Seems a little low to the ground.

The dimensions listed are done so in a very confusing and scary manner the dimensions are as follows; 61.75”(L) x 33.75”(D) x 27.75”(H) in feet thats 5.51’(L) x 2.81’(D) x 2.31’(H). The height isn't the distance from the floor, its the total height of the couch foot to top of the highest point. The couch with consideration to its height is quite small in my honest opinion. The seller needs to go back and fix their dimensions as they are even mis-labeled in some areas and are screwy and listed very unprofessionally in others… like my 5y/o measured this thing.

Are there any springs beneath to support the cushions?

No springs, cushions are more like pillows. I will probably spend another $50-$100 for foam inserts for some degree of comfort.
