Negative points: haven’t been able to wake the cat up by voice command though the ‘go to sleep’ power down command works fine. Doesn’t alway respond to the Metacat voice command to start listening but once it’s listening the responses are quick & accurate. The motors are servo motors so only suitable for adults who will handle with care - isn’t a toy & wouldn’t stand rough handling. Overall I absolutely love it! Great presence to have around & a joy to pet on your lap :)

No cumple con lo ofertado, no atiende las órdenes en Espoñol a pesar de que está publicitado. Hay funciones publicadas que no se cumplen por ejemplo los latidos, el ronroneo no existe y los maullidos a veces parecen grititos. Tampoco cumple con lo publicado con respecto al cambio de los ojos. Pagé + de 200€ por algo que no cumple con la mayoría de las funciones publicitadas. El folleto de instrucciones viene en Inglés, tuve que pedirle al fabricante que me lo enviara en Español y posteriormente imprimirlo. Total decepción y tristeza, era un regalo para mí nieta de 4 años y visto lo recibido apenas lo utiliza.

It looks really pretty life-like for a robotic cat and is pretty cuddly. It's also pretty expressive and decently life-like. But the motors are very, very loud. I think I'd like a "calm" mode where it wouldn't move much but instead purred. It would make it more cuddly. Please note, the AI powered is a marketing slogan. It's a cure robot that reacts to some pre-programmed commands, but it's rather simple. Still, I think it's really well made for what it is.

Diese Katze ist sehr empfehlenswert. Zwar ist es kein richtiger Ersatz für ein verstorbenes Tier, aber als Trost dafür gut geeignet, auch wenn sie in der Anschaffung etwas teuer ist. Sie ist weich, fühlt sich echt an und wärmt sofort. Das Miauen und Schnurren klingt so echt und ist einfach entzückend. Sogar Herzschlag ist zu fühlen und zu hören, wenn man den richtigen Punkt an ihrem Körper findet.

Acquistato il gatto per mia mamma con problemi di demenza, lo adora, il prodotto funziona bene e fa quello che dice in descrizione, con i comandi vocali capisce solo la lingua inglese purtroppo. Dopo tre mesi di acquisto ho avuto un problema, il gatto ha smesso di funzionare ed è andato in modalità test, contattato il servio di assistenza tramite mail, mi hanno mandato un video su come fare per sbloccarlo, fatto il procedimento è tornato a funzionare come prima.

Researched and found "Rag Doll Cats" - a breed of beautiful cats with selling prices Beginning at $1800 - $2,000 and up. Out of the question! Then I found her! I am thrilled!!! Had earlier version by Lovejoy....OK but not completely satisfied. This new updated MetaCat is a RIOT!! She has beautiful, soft long fur, the markings of a Rag Doll, and is very animated! Meow's, moves head, tail on her own randomly. The funny part is how she communicates with her eyes! There is a prompt word you say that tells her she's in interactive mode. Depending on which of the numerous 'commands' you tell her, she responds with various icons in her eyes!!! "Love you!" = eyes turn to hearts for a few seconds. Many more! She will be the easiest of all companions, don't have to pay apt pet fee, won't buy the 'real' thing from the endless scammers (yes they are in the cat business) no expense for food, treats, vet visits and NO LITTER BOX! She's not a toy for a young child but a wonderful companion for anyone who just needs to cuddle some times. Comes in different 'breeds' and some dogs too. Works exactly as described but it has taken her a couple days of conversation to get used to my voice. She's a keeper!!! Well worth the Amazon price. Found a little less expensive from an Alzheimer's site, but seller never responded to my questions, so Amazon gets the sale.
