If you do alot of quilting a must have.
I finally broke down and bought these squaring rulers. Has saved me so much time as to using a regular square measure ruler. And better accuracy. I should have bought along time ago. I also purchased the 1/4 inch tool that comes separately.

Great quilting ruler to square up 1/2 triangles.
