I completely agree with a previous review on here- having worked in the Hospitality industry for years, and being a wine lover, I can confidently say this is the worst waiter’s friend I have ever used. The whole design does not make sense- the spring on the two step fulcrum is so strong that you can’t actually use the first step as intended. The spring to close the device is too strong however, and I cut my hand on the corkscrew! The knife is facing the wrong way, and also is very stiff which could potentially be dangerous. It is nice looking, but that’s it. I will be requesting a refund.

Simple and elegantIt’s essential and most basic of wine openers. It almost looks like a pocket knife. The ebony wood detail very beautiful and makes the corkscrew much more elegant looking. It is well constructed and has all the essential tools to open a wine bottle. Very sturdy, solid feel, thick steel and no doubt it will last forever. Sharp foil cutter no dulling after dozens of bottles. Two-stage design that allows you to fully remove the cork without having to tug on it. Maybe it’s not the best one but very match the price. It's very elegant looking and functions great. Simple is better!

Really is a great corkscrew, it's a well made tool that should last for years if you don't abuse it, remember that you start pulling the cork with the short part of the handle, overall the build quality is top and works well with all the bottle have opened.

The corkscrew is very pretty as an object and works perfectly. The handle is real ebony and i wasn't expecting such a good product for the price. Very pleasantly surprised, definitely great for a gift.

Waiters double pull corkscrew at a great value, was so pleased with it, doesn't take much time and is solid, overall the unit is heavy and feels solid should last long time.
