This exceeded my expectations. The description was too good to be true, but the product is actually well-designed, and the materials are very sturdy and good quality. After freezing the water for 24 hours, the round ice cubes were perfectly formed, and they popped out of the trays easily after running some water over them for a few seconds. I purchased the 2.5-inch size ice balls that fit perfectly in my glass. It makes 8 balls per tray and comes with 2 trays for a total of 16 ice balls. It also comes with a storage container that holds 16 ice balls. It takes a minute of experimenting to discover how to separate the top and bottom sections of the trays (they have an area on one side to put your fingers and pull the trays apart). Once to you discover it, it is very easy to do. Also, the storage top pulls open easily once you discover to put your fingernail or a knife blade where the top connects to the storage bin and pull the top up. Easy! The product is not dishwasher safe, but who would do that anyway? This product is much better than the smaller molds I have tried to use in the past, and real ice is much better than the fake ice options. I recommend the product.

Great for making alot of ice balls. But container doesn't fit all the ice made. Easy to fill and take out.

The large ice cube, molds work really well. Remember if you want clear ice balls, pour hot water into the tray. It works surprisingly well.

I bought these as a replacement for another set of ice molds I was using, and these are a definite upgrade. The mold comes apart in two pieces and doesn't have any nooks or crannies so it's pretty easy to fill, use, and clean. The bottom half is the part you fill, and there's a line around on the inside to show where you fill it to. Placing the top portion can be messy because if you press down too quickly, water will squirt out of the top through the holes that let the air out. I just fill it in my sink and that contains any water that may come out. You also need to make sure you place them in your freezer flat. They don't leak out of the edges, but water will come out of the aforementioned air holes and then your spheres won't be round. The frozen spheres come out pretty easily as well. I give it a gentle twist before I open it, then pull the lid off slowly. If the spheres stick to the top of the mold, give it another little twist and they'll release into the bottom. The tongs that come with the mold are kinda useless for these as they're too small to fit around the spheres. I found a use for them in other things, they're pretty good as far as ice tongs go. They just don't fit the ice that comes out of this mold. As far as the size of the spheres, they're perfect for what I wanted them for. They're small enough to fit into my water bottle (32oz hydro flask if you're looking for a comparison) and travel coffee mug, and they last a lot longer than regular ice. I usually still have a bit left from them at the end of the day. I didn't buy them to drink whiskey so someone else will have to comment on how well they work for that. Overall, I think they're worth the price and I'm glad I switched brands.

I love these! I drink iced coffee at work and I hate that it gets watered down when the ice starts to melt. And smaller ice cubes means more surface area so it melts faster. Instead of using water, I freeze cooled brewed coffee in these. I don’t like sweet coffee, so I freeze the Trader Joe’s vanilla cardamom coffee in these trays. 2 big coffee balls, 18oz of cold coffee, and some half and half, and I get a flavored iced coffee that tastes perfect! These trays are easy to use and fill, though I wish the tops snapped in place instead of just sitting loose, and there’s no lip on the trays, so they don’t stack well. The plastic container they come with is not airtight, so I store mine in quart size freezer bags, and the container is used to hold dipping sauces from takeout restaurants. 😆 Pro tip: Coffee doesn’t expand as much as water when frozen, so I make sure to fill past the fill-line or else you only get half a ball.

The actual ice trays are great. The bin arrived broken & seems cheaply made. And the tongs, you might as well throw them away because there’s no way they will grab an ice ball.

Kul och bra form för att göra isklot. Hade fått fem stjärnor om det inte vore för att lådan, som ingår, inte är tillräckligt hög för att rymma två lager färdiga isklot. Ett lager får med massor av marginal plats. Ett andra lager får, med knapp marginal, inte plats. Lådan blir därför väldigt skrymmande i frysen i förhållande till hur mycket innehåll den har.

Wenn man den Trick raus hat, geht das Befüllen fast so schnell, wie normale Formen. Material Kunststoff, robust, gut verpackt und schnell geliefert. Große Eiswürfel passen aber nicht in jedes Aperol Glas 😉 wirklich runde Eiskugeln.

Love this ice maker! So easy to keep the ice box full and have ice ready on hand for whatever drink you choose. The spheres are great for my morning iced lattes.

Love that it came with its own storage container & cute tongs. Once I figured out how to use it it now makes perfect circle cubes. Super easy to use & cubes release very easily. Highly recommend.
