Aqua-Magic® VI High Profile, Parchment

Much higher than our original hand flush Aqua-Magic toilet. Foot pedal takes some getting used to but it works perfect although, I feel it uses more water than our old one. It came assembled, the install was a little tricky due to the small space but my husband got it done! Time will tell on durability.

This is better than the older Thetford I replaced, wanting a higher toilet. Higher I got and that was nice. But, the seat is weak and slides off the holders easily. The water rinse system shoots water under the seat. I couldn’t find any way to stop this, until I removed the restrictor from the shower head. Strangely, that fit in the in line and now the toilet flushes nicely. Thetford should offer a way to adjust the flush flow. Otherwise, this works well. The slow close toilet seat is nice. I can recommend this item.

We put this toilet in my rialta motorhome. It is a very tall toilet. I would say almost to tall but it is so much better than the very short original toilet that came with it. I had to take the drop down sink out because of the height of the toilet. We never used that sink so we do not miss it. I think I want to take the soft close lid off the new toilet because it can not go all the way up. It is a tight space but we are old and need the height of the toilet. The unit functions perfectly.

Our old RV toilet completely gave out, so we upgraded to this one—and honestly? No complaints. It fits well, flushes properly, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Installation was straightforward, and it’s been holding up great so far.

Have no idea where the intermittent water leak was coming from in old potty, but after we got thru our camping trip with towels on floor to soak up puddles, I wasn’t in the mood to diagnose the problem. Ordered this high profile version of that model and just installed it. Couple inches higher is great for us 70+ folks. Water connection is in same location but 1” higher, but enough slack in supply tube to make it up. If you have the shorter original version, this one is definitely an nice upgrade.

When looking for a replacement toilet, we found it difficult to obtain information on toilets from different manufacturers in place of Thetford. In the end we figured better safe than sorry and bought this Thetford. Well we ARE SORRY. It's absolutely a piece of junk. I concur with all the other critical reviews. The toilet is defective. I'm a normal man who weighs 205#, in shape and by no means heavy. Heavy I am though for this toilet! The flimsy plastic construction bent during my first use. See photos. The front of the base buckled. Where is this made? No quality control? Given that it seems they are manufactured in Michigan and Europe, with EU HQ in the Netherlands, I am shocked by the poor quality. They should be ashamed to produce such shoddy products. I'd expect this from China, Bangladesh or other outsourced, developing-nation location. Let's see if they stand behind their website statement, "Thetford prides itself on creative design and is committed to the production of high-quality products that exceed the needs of a demanding marketplace.". I want a full refund. Amazon charged a restocking fee of $31!!

Had the aqua-magic V toilet for years. Finally replaced I with the A.M. VI. Built nice. Looks nice. But now here's the bad part. The seat does not conture to your Kester. Huge hole and almost flat seat. Most uncomfortable thing I ever sat on. People have been making comfortable toilet seats for years. This sure was a step back.

Replaced my rear lever toilet in my northern lite camper with this front foot pedal flushing toilet. Easy install and works great.

Nice appearance, easy to work with and install.Three suggestions for the manufacturer The water hookup is located higher than the Dometic 210 model. A braided hose should be added, the same size fitting on each end. Also, the self-closing lid (a nice feature), but it's not very responsive, a long time to close and stiff spring for opening. Last, it would be nice to have a manual and parts list.

Toilet is high profile. Love it. Flushes very well. It has an independent lid closer to offer close both together. Seat closure is great if you have kids that don't put the seat back down. Buy it you'll like it. I did buy a riser from here as well. It elevates a shorter toilet. That worked well before I needed this one.
