16 Inch Torpedo Level, Magnetic Level Tool with 45°/90°/180° Bubbles, Aluminum Alloy Construction, Shock Resistant Bubble Level Tool(400mm)

If you are a DIYer like me, you probably have several levels in your collection. I have a 24" and 48" level, but they are too big to carry with me all the time and sometimes even too big for doing interior work. I also have a 6" plastic level that I keep in a pocket of my tool bucket, but it is too small to get an accurate reading in most cases. The URASISTO 16 Inch Torpedo Level is small enough to carry in my tool bucket but big enough to give me good measurements.The URASISTO 16 Inch Torpedo Level is all metal construction except for the hard plastic end caps that can absorb the shock of a fall. The end caps also have plastic reinforced opening to allow you to hang the level if needed.The level measures 16" long x 1" wide and stands 2 1/2" tall. The three vials are easy to read and can measure 180°, 90° and 45°. The vials are also protected by plastic and have good visibility. The top and bottom edges are a textured aluminum finish with the bottom being magnetic to hold about 2 lbs.In making several checks, I found the vials to be extremely accurate for all three angles.I still intend to keep the 6" level in my tool bucket but the URASISTO 16 Inch Torpedo Level will have a place close to it so I don't have to keep going back to the garage to grab a large level when in the middle of a project.

I couldn't be happier with this level. Given the price, I figured it would be like a lot of other cheap levels i've had, but it's way nicer. The fluid tubes are encased in really thick acrylic, so it seems impossible to crack them. They are also perfectly level. I know that's what the whole tool is for, but a lot of cheap levels aren't actually calibrated well. This one is perfect. Not only are the machined surfaces perfectly calibrated, but even the rubber end caps are perfect on my particular unit.The magnetic part is only on one side of the level, but it's strong enough to hold well. And by the way, the vertical bubble is also perfectly calibrated on mine.5 stars easy. This is a really nice level at a great price. I wish it were a little longer, but for a small 16" level, this has exceeded my expectations.

I was really surprised and disappointed to see that this level does not work. A level only has one job and that is to measure if something is level or not and this product did not work. I first tested it in several locations that I know for a fact are level and it did not read level. Then to make sure, I got two of my other levels (my 4 foot level and my 2 foot level) and used them in the same spots where I tested this level. They both read level in the locations that I previously mentioned. A level that doesn’t read accurately is worthless.

Upfront disclosure: I received this item through the Amazon Vine program for review.I use levels pretty regularly on my projects. I needed a medium sized level for some of my projects. I had looked at several at the stores but had not bought them because they were priced a bit higher than I wanted to spend for another level. When this one showed up in my Vine feed, I ordered it immediately. Upon it's arrival I took a good look over the tool and found that it was every bit as nice as the ones I had seen in the stores from big name companies. The magnetic side works well and the bubble levels are nice an easy to ready. Definitely a good level that is going to get many years of use around my house.

After testing with a couple of home improvement jobs, this has been a fantastic leveling tool. I've never used a 16-inch level before and I wish I would have known sooner how useful it is, compared to 6-inch> levels, as it's much easier to locate when needed and feels much more durable. I really like how protected the vials are as they are each within a two layers of transparent casing. Plus the shock absorbing ends are a nice comfort (though I have not done any drop tests to see them in action). I've used the level side by side with two others (one from Dewalt and another from Irwin) and it appears just as accurate.One aspect I was a bit disappointed by was the strength of the magnetic ends. This may be intentional but they seem very weak, in which they cannot hold the level vertically. Perhaps they were added for just a bit of extra stability on horizontal surfaces, but I was hoping they would be able to stand vertically as well.

The level is extremely nice with nice quality aluminum and nice quality paint. Strong enough magnet to get the job done and nice durable transparent leveling tubes. The level is extremely rigid and seems to be very drop proof so you could drop this thing from a few stories and it would probably be just fine with maybe a scratch or a small ding at most. The ends are made out of very nice quality durable plastic so if they land on the ends then it shouldn't be a problem at all. I really like the machined finishing on the edges as well and it definitely works good as a very true and straight/flat edge. Tool definitely gets five stars from me!

The magnets are to week

We needed a shorter level that would fit into tighter spaces than the 4-footer we have. This 16” level with 45º, 90º, and 180º bubbles fit the bill perfectly. The aluminum body and plastic shock absorbers on each end lend it some strength and durability. The orange color makes it easy to keep an eye on while working. The only slight downside is that the magnetic strip works only so-so. It picks up small objects nicely but just slides down whatever metal surface that is has been stuck to. I used the level while hanging some new art prints on the living room wall and it did its job quite well. We have plenty of uses for a level of this size including stabilizing the RV this summer when out camping. So, other than the magnetic strip not being strong enough I would say that this level works well and it is a good tool to have in your toolbox...
