I have purchased 2 of these items in last 2 months. This was an excellent purchase for removing hot air from my new Motorcycle enclosure. Thermostat is set and working perfectly. They have lowered the temp about 15-20 degrees. They are very quiet in the enclosure and can't hear thru the house wall. The design is very sturdy and should last several years.

Great shuttered fan! The controller that comes with it is very useful and easy to work with. I bought this fan on sale, cut/used a piece of plywood and the existing opening/hatch for my attic to build a "whole house fan" for about $100. In summer months, it gets up to 114 degrees where we live (no humidity though) and so being able to fill the house and the attic with fresh cool air before dawn is a huge money saver on our AC/power. This fan moves plenty of air so opening windows downstairs and turning this fan to high power does all of that cooling work cheaply and in minutes. The shutter opens and closes easily even though the fan is mounted horizontally. We are very pleased with this purchase.

Received on 08-09-2025 and installed. It is the 18'' and I live in Florida. Not sure about durability yet, but it is an easy installation, very low noise and good speed. So far, the fan performance is as expected. When is working you could feel how it moves the air form the attic. Hopefully it will decrease my electric bill.

We purchased the fan and Smart Thermostat (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07NRG9RM5) in March 2020. The unit is installed as a gable fan at the hottest part of our attic. PROS: No failures, it just works...even the remote control. Up to this point, we've had to replace the remote batteries twice. Once the thermostat is set, the remote is primarily used to turn the unit on after a power outage, and to observe temp/humidity. Noise level is comparable to another 18in metal bladed fan we have with similar HP, but quieter than a 1/8HP, 18in fan = a nice motor choice by the manufacturer. CONS: Only one...no matter how I adjust the framing or lube the shutters, they still hang in a partially-open position. This began after 2-3 years of use. SUMMARY: If you need/want a louvered exhaust fan, look no further than this unit (in whatever size you choose). Other than the shutters being slightly frustrating, this is a very reliable and elegant looking solution that delivers excellent value for the price.

Work fantastic great size and quality and durable not really noisy

The Wall Mounted Shutter Exhaust Fan was incredibly easy to install, and I was able to get it up and running without much hassle. The clear instructions made the process straightforward, and the fan fit perfectly into the space. One thing to note, though, is that you’ll need to have an outlet nearby in the installation area, as it doesn’t come with a very long cord. I was fortunate to have an outlet within reach, but if you don’t, it’s something to plan for ahead of time. Once installed, the difference in my attic temperature was remarkable. Before, the attic was always unbearably hot, especially during the summer, but this fan has made a huge improvement. It helps circulate the air and keeps the attic at a much more manageable temperature, preventing that excessive heat buildup. I’ve noticed a significant drop in temperature, which has also helped reduce the strain on the house's AC system. Overall, this exhaust fan has been a great addition to the house. It was easy to install, works effectively, and has made a noticeable difference in the comfort and airflow of the attic. Highly recommended for anyone needing better ventilation in a hot space!

Seems to be well built, very quiet & runs smoothly. Just received & installed today we'll see what the longevity turns out to be. Nice exhaust fan for the money.

Oh the sweet smell of a clean barn, Now! These fans got the ammonia smell out of a 4k sq ft barn within 20 min. Love these. Easy install, and work great. Love that i can control fan speed, and control humidity/temp. The goats dont seem bothered by noice. Its barely noticeable on low, but on high this fan is a bit noisy.. still, it was a much needed investment! Ty,

Works good

Seems to be of good quality for something made in China. The 1/15 horsepower motor runs cool enough even in the hot barn. It also does a really good job of removing old stinky, humid air out of the barn. The chickens are healthyer now Im sure. Now it smells like farm in there, not just like poop! Another plus too is it used hardly any power at only 0.85 amps at full power.
