ISTA SNAIL TRAP

Finally a product that actually works. Have removed loads of snails. Easy to pull up each day. Used a different string as the one enclosed was slippery & wouldn’t stay tied on.

I had a very well established tank.. cycled for a year.. healthy beautiful fish!Putting this in my tank and over night I lost 5 rummynoses and 2 guppies. Immediately took it out and did a 25% water charge. The following day my 5 remaining guppies lost their life's! Did another water charge and the same night lost a molly and my beloved pleco Maggie!! I am absolutely gutted! I have 2 fish left which are now in my hospital tank.. and tbh I don't think they will make it.Oh the snails died too!! I can't send it back as it's been opened.. i binned the whole lot in anger. Read the other reviews (which i should of done)DO NOT BUY

This item is very, very small. The pictures don't really show just how small it is.I placed mine into a large 250 litre tank and it was overwhelmed within minutes. I wasn't able to reduce the problem with this alone.If you had a small tank then I could see it working a little better.

Bought this to help get rid of a snail infestation unfortunately it resulted in the death of my guppies the fish seemed more interested than the snails didn't really catch that many resulted in me doing a 100% water change and recycle tank

Having used this product before with great results, it made sense to purchase another one.
