I was a little worried about how these would work, but my 10-year-old son got the hang of them within an hour. He loves them indoors, we haven't tried them outside.

I bought these for my 8 year old boy that is normally very active and coordinated. He plays soccer and basketball. He is athletic. He also skates a lot on regular skates and in-line skates. He had a very hard time with these. I don’t know why. He was very discouraged as he really wanted to go go go. It took a lot of practice and falls. Definitely buy a helmet and body armour guards for your kid if you get these.

My 10 yr old son loves these skaters, the sparks are really bright and balancing on these skates took only an hour to balance and learn. It's worth the money spent. a good purchase for 10 yr old and above.
