Long Handle Dustpan & Broom Metallic, Silver

Very useful, nothing wrong so far, I'm 5'7, not able to bend over or kneel at the moment. Wish I'd got one sooner. Recommend it.

I wanted to replace my existing long handled dustpan and brush but most of the ones I looked at were too big. This one exactly fits the bill, small enough to get in awkward places in my kitchen but sturdily made to last. It was reasonably priced and delivered next day.

Good product, ideal for those who have physical difficulty in bending over to sweep up and ideal for those lazy like myself who hate bending over to sweep up. However this makes it sooooo much easier and quicker (ideal for the busy modern person). It picks up dirt easily and doesn't like other products i have bought in the past, sweep it under the dustpan... I have a rather small kitchen so, the size of the brush is not an issue for me, as it gets into the corners quite nicely and the whole dustpan and broom takes up limited space. However for those with bigger kitchen's or floor space to cover, you may be a little dissapointed by the size of the brush and therefore I would just recommend this to simply pick up and to just use a normal size broom.

I'm not a pensioner, I'm not even that old but that doesn't mean I should enjoy crawling around sweeping up the kitchen floor. That's why I bought this product. It's fantastic! It's well made, the broom clips to the pan handle for storage and that either stands on its own in the corner or you can hang it up via the hole in the handles. The brush is shaped to sit compactly into the pan for storage as well. It's a nice firm bristle so getting into corners is easy and the pan has a rubber edge so nothing escapes underneath it when sweeping. It's brilliant and saves you from crawling around.

The chrome handle has some stuff on it in parts which looks like cellotape. With my thumb nail I have picked at it - and it will not peel of in one piece. I have been at it for 25 minutes and hardly removed any of it. It keeps breaking of as you pick and try to peel. This tape looking stuff runs the length of the handle and it looks UGLY ... it makes the whole thing appear tatty and the only way you're going to remove it is with something abrasive. This will ruin the shiny chrome. I hav felt so angry with this all over my Brand new Dustpan and brush. When I paid my money, it did not say in the description that it comes with all this unmovable muck on the handle. If a visitor came to my home, I would say I don't have a dustpan and brush. I would be too embarrassed to hand that to someone. The cellotape looking stuff isn't flat against the handle, some of it is raised and creased, making it very noticeable. In one part it looks like there is paper or a print of some sort on the clear looking tape. I am guessing that the seller has bought these defective dustpans at a much cheaper price because they're not displayable in a shop ... and is selling them at full price. Well I'm not happy with this. In a shop you can inspect things before buying them. Online you rely on prduct description, reviews and photos before you buy. No where in the description does it say you get unmovable ugly looking tape all over the chrome and the photo doesn't show this tape either. I therefore feel like I've been conned. Do I recommend the product? Yes providing you don't buy it from this seller ... called Pharmacy Place.

I'm torn in reviewing this. I had one before that lasted ages and it's the best dustpan and brush I've had in terms of how effectively it 'catches' and holds on to dust etc and stays in the pan etc. That said, with this new one I got the pan cracked within a couple of weeks of buying it, rendering it useless...
