Okay, first up, I'm a flashlight guy. Big time. Anytime the family goes to the store I'm in the flashlight section first thing. I like to always have one handy, and although I always have several, I'm constantly rotating through dying or defective lights, so I'm always open to adding one or two. This product offers a twin oaks, so two lights, in a familiar style, the Button on the rear of the handle, with a striking face around the lens for self defense? It's also got a zoom feature I like sliding the front lens assembly forward concentrates the light beam into a narrow spot point,abd slidi g it back towards the user widens the spread of light to reveal details with in front of you at a 90degree angle,maybe a bit more? I used three AAA batteries (not included) by loading them in the included removable battery cartridge/holder and tried it out. It's super bright, do not look at the light straight on when it's got fresh batteries, you will be seeing spots tomorrow if you do. The batteries lasted longer than expected, but by then I received a rechargable battery that I had ordered for it, because AAAs are not cheap! Those took a painfully long time to arrive,I'll post more info later so you don't accidentally ordered from that seller. The rechargable worked great in this, using the included Rechargable battery tube that helps the battery stay put. I like this light, well made, tough feel and high functioning. Overall I'd recommend it to those needing a compact but very bright urban spotlight.

I have several of these strewn around my home, always ready, always very bright when needed & totally adjustable. These are going as stocking stuffers this Christmas. Make sure to include the batteries if you are gifting them so they are ready-to-use (maybe even put them IN the flashlight). They take 3 AAA batteries. My 2 are going to senior citizens in assisted-living who requested them on their Angel Tree card. They want them for locating things that fell on the floor & under the bed & for quick trips in the dark without actually tripping! These are a smaller size than a standard one & are easier to handle. They fit in a pocket or purse without being bulky. The width of the beam can be easily changed just by pulling the tube. It throws a mean beam!

This is an edit to my previous review, below. After using the flashlight for a short time, I realized that there is apparently a "reset" timer built in. The first click on the bottom button takes it to the brightest mode Then if it's turned off for several seconds and turned on again, it thankfully reverts again to the brightest setting. Just what I wanted. In general it is a really great flashlight! I just got the pair of them yesterday. Brightness is pretty good and zoom is very easy to use. But it's the kind that requires multiple pushes on the on/off switch (on the bottom) in order to change settings, such as bright, two dim settings, flashing, and SOS. I should have read the description more carefully I suppose. But it appears that you have to go through all five settings in order to get back to the setting you want. In my case all I really want is the brightest setting, so when I turn it off, I'll have to click TEN TIMES to get back to the bright setting. I'll keep them because they are pretty cheap, but will continue to shop for a bright light that STAYS bright!

I already had two that are similar. They all use the same battery type and LED as far as I can tell. They are bright but I don’t think they put out 3000 linens. The others I already had were advertised as 2000 lumens. Who knows- I don’t have a proper meter for that. They are built well and are very sturdy for sure.

Really bright medium-sized flashlights. Not too big to carry around or put in your pocket. You can make the circle of light bigger or smaller. I'd buy these again.

*** UPDATE *** After receiving my first order, my wife and son wanted one of their own to keep in their car, so I bought a second set! Very fast shipping and great communication with the seller After looking at a number of other items, I selected these because of the quality and features described. After opening and putting in three AAA batteries I was more than impressed! I appreciate the ability to use disposable batteries as well as as a single rechargeable lithium battery! The light output is fantastic as is the ability to adjust the light spread and functions. The strobe & SOS flash patterns are very useful as a volunteer first responder! I recommend this compact flashlight to anyone with a need to have quality and powerful flashlight!

I really like this flashlight. It's a heavy duty, super bright and has valuable features like SOS, strobe and the ability to change the beam's focus from wide and broad to a sharp focused beam. It has a good, heavy weight to it which suggests it will be durable - we'll see. And, you can't beat the price! What's more impressive, however, is the customer service. When I opened the back of one flashlight to put in the batteries, one of the rubber, water tight seals tore in half. Not sure why. So, I emailed their help service on a Monday night around 8pm. THEY RESPONDED IN 32 MINUTES! They apologized for the issue, wanted some more information and within 50 minutes of my initially reaching out to them, a new flashlight was on the way. I received it a few days later. That's customer service!!!! THANK YOU!

I’ve had a few different hand type flashlights and these are by far the best. My reasoning is that you need to have sufficient lumens to and at the same time be able to focus that light beam is maintained out to 200+ meters. This combination allows you to walk around on a dark evening and these flashlights do both and they’re light enough and small enough to carry in your hand or pocket. Actually, 200m may be conservative. I would guess 250 to maybe 300. I am using an 18650 rechargeable battery and haven’t gone through one battery yet so don’t know what the battery drain time is.
