Great set of lights to have. Dual brightness, auto on/off with a timer feature. When using the timer feature the auto on/off is disabled but with the remote it's really not an issue. When you install them make sure to check each bulb for tightness in the socket. In my instance the lights worked beautifully the two nights. The third night a light was out so I checked it before installing the spare provided with the lights. A simple tightening of the bulb and the light came on. Overall great lights.

Ready to use out of box, easy install, light weight, love the modes, timer, brightness adjustment and easy to use remote. I do wish the lights had the option to cycle through all the modes instead of just choosing one mode. I use them on my mesh fence to deter predators from my bushes.

I bought these and had them up all summer and now into late fall. They add a great glow to the yard and look very sleek. The sun, even in the fall, gives them a full night of power. They are not super bright, but bright enough to light up the space around them enough to see at night. The color is a wamish white, but not warm/yellow. They're well made and withheld many strong storms and wind. Toward the end of summer, I did have a squirrel decide to chew clean through the string lights. I thought about keeping the bulbs, tossing the set, and getting a new one, however, I decided instead to try to repair it and was successful (cut and spliced the wire, retwined the wires, covered with a waterproof wire gauge butt connector, crimped, and heated it on with a lighter) I'm glad I did that instead, much cheaper and no hassle of having to take them down and put new ones up. Plus if it happens again, I can repeat the process! As the holiday season comes up, I wondered if I could get colored bulbs for them. I couldn't find any that appeared compatible, so I decided to just get colored square cellophane sheets on Amazon, wrapped each bulb with one, and used black hair rubber bands to fasten the sheets on. It worked so great for Halloween, and will be doing similar for other upcoming holidays. I've attached a pic for reference.

Update Feb/2024 Early Jan/2024 the lights became erratic. It became apparent that the solar charge was not doing it's job. Contacted company explaining what was going on. Suspected it was likely the battery which according to company could not be replaced. Addlon got back within 48 hours indicating that they would replace the charger. Obviously they were prepared to back up the 1 year warranty that was indicated on Amazon. Within a day of providing address had an email confirming shipping of replacement which arrived expeditiously. To say the least I was impressed that the company did provide support and stood behind their product. I do like the lights and very much appreciate the remote. The dawn to dusk issue has faded as if and when need light in morning it is quickly set up with remote. Changing from 4 stars to 5 stars. In today's world a company that provides support and stands behind their product needs to be recognized, at least as I see it. Installation went fairly well once got the cables untangled which was my fault. Later I find instructions on a small card in bottom of box on how to "unwind cable" in an alleged easy manner. Do like the solar panel set up. Able to install and keep cable out of sun. Sun tends to eat things up around here. There are 2 issues. For a most senior person the instructions were lacking and/or confusing. The second issue is dawn to dusk which is primarily why the set was ordered is about 6 hours. The lights start with dusk which is coming 20:00 and are gone by somewhere around 02:00. Dawn around here is closer to 06:00. The dusk to dawn is about 6 hours so have to shut down on a timer. There is still plenty power for the lights if turned on after 02:00 with remote. Not a big enough issue to uninstall and send back but not dusk to dawn in my book. The lights do work well and do like that brightness can be adjusted.

Wonderful lights! Set up was super easy and so far they work perfectly and really warm up our patio. Love that we don’t have to worry about plugging them in. Lights came pre charged which was nice.

Nice lighting, easy installation and maintenance. After 2 years one of the bulbs stopped working. Unfortunately, I don’t know where I put the spare light bulb that comes in the package so I had to purchase a pack of bulbs. I’m hoping they fit correctly - I’m waiting for them now. I had previously purchased a set recommended by the automated answers but they did not work. If the ones I just purchased work, I’ll update my review with the item part number.

I purchased these Adelan 54-foot solar string lights in May 2025, and I felt compelled to write a review in February 2026 because they have truly been tested by the elements. I hung them up on my balcony as soon as they arrived, and since then they’ve gone through everything: 95° humid summer days with full sun, torrential downpours, thunderstorms, strong winds, and most recently temperatures down to -15° with a wind chill of -40°. Through all of that, these lights are still turning on like a champ every single night. As long as they get even a little bit of sun during the day, they come on automatically at dusk and stay on for several hours. They are so pretty and add a warm, cozy touch to my balcony. In the summer, it was wonderful sitting outside under them, and in the winter, I love looking at them glowing through the patio doors. These lights are truly tried and tested—very durable, attractive, and an excellent value. I highly recommend them.

I love the fact that they recharge automatically through the solar panel. Three different brightness. Love them!
