So glad to see the girls featured in this film since we didn't much of them in MINIONS. In this film, the Minions have to take a backseat to Gru and his brother, Dru, but that's fine. The film is still sweetly hilarious. (Where Gru can be grumpy, Dru is all optimism and sunshine.) My family, which contains many small children, loves that this is a film that we can all watch together. My girls love curling up with their dad, and my boys love sitting beside - and on - mom (me) to watch. The laughs and giggles seem to never end. It's a wonderful way to spend a family evening. I'm not a technical person at all, so I can't speak to the technical issues in this film. I just know we had no trouble with the DVD, and the picture was clear and bright on our new flatscreen HiDef TV. (I think it's a 4K, but I'm not sure. I leave the technical things to my husband and one of my brothers, who are both skilled in all aspects of technical issues.) If you're looking for a family film that is really good, and if you love Gru and the Minions, then this is a film you'll love and want to watch again and again. It's become a big part of my children's childhood.

Fun sequel and a nice combo set with Blu-Ray/DVD/Digital Copy
By now there is probably no point in going on about the synopsis or how this story line compares to the other films in this movie series or franchise. It's a Despicable Me sequel, with plenty of minions tom-foolery, to keep the kids entertained and wanting to watch this movie again and again. We love the fact that this combo set offers the HD version on Blu-Ray, as well as having the standard DVD and the digital copy included, as well. Bought at discounted sale price, this is an excellent value and worth the investment, especially if you enjoy these films or have kids that do - though these movies are available on streaming platforms, It's always nice to have a physical copy of the movie, for the collection, IMO.
