Good clip, works well and seems to be of decent quality. Was easy to replace and install so long as you pay attention to how the original was installed and replicate that. Seems to remain in place without slippage and the need to adjust.

The replacement buckles went right onto my backpack and worked very good or strong and easy to use and easy to install at a fair price

One thing that this supplier should state is the dimension of the center post on the release buckle side. I purchased these just to use one half of the clasp. But the center post dimension was taller and thicker and would fit in my existing female clasp so had to replace both of clasps rather than just the release clasp. The clasp appears well made and all has ended Ok after some additional work in the removing the belt stitching on my existing female clasp, and replacing the female clasp with the new one. All good

Ordered 3/4” buckles for adding accessories to the ones built into a truck bed Softopper. These were the only buckles out of many that would fit the particular 3/4” plastic buckles included with the Softopper. Buckle sizes and shapes vary wildly between sellers and brands. These buckles are rated for 55 lbs, but I have not put them to the test and doubt I’ll be using them for anything that heavy. They will mainly be used to connect a light tarp, camp kitchen bag or lights. Fit and finish is good, and clamping seems solid for applications within said rating.

I have a belt “system” purchased from another manufacturer that came with three webbed straps and one metal buckle. Although I can easily swap the metal buckle across all three straps, sometimes I just want to grab a belt and go. These heavy duty side release buckles are perfect for what I intended. The webbed straps I own came with a plastic stop installed on one end and a melted tip on the other. The stop end keeps it from slipping through the buckle, and the excess tail I’ve fed to be hidden “inside” the belt when wearing (see photos 2 & 3 for details). The upside is that the belt is already sized to my waist and I don’t have to feed it through and adjust it each time. Also, it was nice paying <$10 for a 2-pack of these vs. ~$30 for a second metal buckle from the original manufacturer.

This review is for the 1.25" (32mm) size. I was extremely pleased with the high quality. I made two belts for technical hiking/climbing trousers using these as belt buckles. The buckle pieces are very sturdy. The webbing went through the web channels in a tight manner. This was a bit of a pain while threading, and probably will make it hard to slip. No stars taken for "snug" because this will either work for your purpose or not. Good for a belt or a tie down, maybe inconvenient for a pack strap. The thing I prefer to emphasize though is that these are very high quality, very sturdy, and the buckling part fits/works great. Highest marks.

I couldn't get them open and returned. Would not recommend for older folks or anyone with hand strength

I bought a fairly high quality trekking pack, and my first hike out, the waist buckle broke. Fortunately they weren't the sewn in type, and I purchased these, and even though the company sent me a new buckle, why replace it with the same thing? These are far more heavy duty, fit my straps perfectly, and I can't see these breaking anytime soon. I'll keep the spare in my bag, just in case, but im very happy and don't forsee any issues with these. Highly recommend.

These clips are very well made and very sturdy! This is the second time I have ordered these clips. We'll worth the money and easy to sew on to a belt!

Works as intended but I found I could have used an extra piece which holds the straps together further along the waist. had to get another kit after. If you don't need those pieces, this kit should work without issue.

Worked great to fix our helmet
