Great Expectations: Charles Dickens (Penguin Clothbound Classics)

Cover for this book was very nice. Was brought as a present, person it was brought for looked it.

Brilliant book, Penguin Classics are easy to read

If you are a Charles Dickens fan this is one for you. If you are new to Dickens then a good starting point. You have to read Great Expectations to get the feeling and mood of the story. Is heartbreaking,moody and funny to say the least. Could write forever on the virtues of this book but why not try it. You won t be let down.

i confess i had to read this novel for university, but i am so glad i did. what an impact it had on me. it is split into 3 volumes and volume 1 was a good read, but i did feel volume 2 was not quite as good at holding my attention. i kept dipping in and out, however volume 3 was worth waiting for! i had a tear in my eye at certain part of it. (I wont spoil it for anyone who hasnt read the book yet). i felt an array of emotions after it, and feel like all the characters, especially Pip will stay with me forever. everyone should read this book at least once in their life, there are, i feel lessons to learn from it, yet simple lessons. dont think i will ever forget this wonderful story.
