Make sure you get the right stem size for this item so that it fits into the seat post; and remember to buy a new seat if you have to (from $27-$200, your choice), with the "7 mm rail" mounting system which is remarkably common on bike seats these days.Check yourself but for us at this date, RadRunner 2 was the 27.2 mm post model and the RadRover 6 plus was also that size. This suspension seat post comes in various sizes so--check.Also, if you are heavier or lighter, adjusting a screw inside the bottom of the post can increase or decrease the amount of spring "give" to change up your suspension.

My new e-bike has a front suspension and low-pressure, wide tires, but still its bolt-upright riding position was giving my back "stingers' whenever I went hit a significant bump in the road. I felt it couldn't be good to subject my back to this daily for years. I considered a conventional spring seat post but those just do the annoying "bouncy-bouncy" for a couple seconds whenever you hit a bump. But this thing is like MAGIC...I don't know how they do it, but this just feels like riding on a cloud. All those familiar bumps on my commute to work, I just float over them now. I hesitated about the price, but this is hugely worth it.

My lower back is relieved

I am getting older and have lower back issues, this works to lessen the effects of bumps and so on, it also takes the harshness of the trail off my behind and transfers it to the seat post....it just works...well built and adjustable. I have used the other style of seat post for many years and tried the four link post and will not go back to the cheaper ones....you get what you pay for and this work, SR is a know company in the bike world an have been around for some time, if reading this, just hit the b button and buy one, your are will love you for it as mine does.

I purchased a new ebike without shocks and adding this seat post was an excellent addition to dampening the bumps on the trails and roads. You would need to adjust the dampening level to your liking using an allen wrench. The only downside is the default spring is not rated beyond 200lbs, so beware, it may work for 200+ but may be a risk. I had to purchase the red spring which was rated higher just to be on the safe side.

I considered more expensive models, but decided to try out the Suntour and am so glad I did! It's easy to install and set up. I weigh about 185lbs, 6' tall and the stock spring makes the ride much more comfortable. Also the minimum insertion point is much less than the stock seatpost of my Radmini bikes which I always had at the minimum point so now I can use it on my RadMini step-thru at the proper height for me (the step-thru is meant for riders up to 5'10").Thank you for reading and I hope you found this helpful!

I was wrong. My last review said it didn't work. Nope works like it should once I actually rode it.

I tried going cheap by buying one of those $30 suspension post and it was a joke. the thing had like 1" of travel and kept sticking. this suntour is so plush and feels like several inches of travel. take in mind I am using this on a fat tire bike so im not trying to milk the bike for every drop of performance and control. all I can say is of all the things I have gotten for this bike this is by far the best upgrade.
