NGK 6597 Spark Plug

My mower came with a plug made by a company called Torch, my mower was hard to start, I did a bit research and everyone raved about these plugs, a bit of over kill perhaps but my new mower starts easier than any mower I've ever owned and the plug should outlast the mower.

I am using this plug on my Honda lawn mower (HRX series). The main thing that I have noticed is that the mower uses a lot less gasoline than with the OEM NGK plug. I replaced the OEM plug shortly after I purchased my mower because I like to experiment. It takes me a little more than an hour to cut my lawn. I used to have to stop and refill. After I started using this Iridium plug, I still have a quarter tank left over after I finish mowing. It was hard to believe that one spark plug has made such a difference, but it has been like that for two years so far. I tried another Iridium plug (DENSO) without the same results, possibly because I had to adjust the gap. I also noticed misfires with that plug. This NGK Iridium came gapped with the OEM spec. To me using a lot less gas to mow the same lawn means that it is making the engine run a lot more efficiently. I have not noticed any negative effect from this plug. It still looks good and should last me several more seasons. I have already replaced the plug on my power washer and snow blower with an NGK Iridium.
