Great for teaching chords/forms of accompaniment (chord/broken chord/Alberti bass/1-tonic then 3&5) in the classroom! Loud & gets pupils attention, useful & good for AfL as pupils can do the notes while you play & tutorials also class can see up close - as teacher is not hidden behind a piano where they can't see what is happening! Being this size eliminates the piano panic over 'how many keys/where's middle C?!' as then have only 2 octaves to look at.Also good for compositional purposes - this crossbreed means including also how wind instruments need to breathe!This is also great fun in uni houses/music department/parties etc ;) I personally would probably invest in one with a larger range, like what the 'Melodica men' use if I were to be playing it as an instrument.But generally a good novelty instrument!

Brilliant product for learning about piano chords, scales and melodies. I discovered that it can also be played continuously by using the circular breathing technique which has given me a lot to practice.Considering buying one for my nephews for their birthday soon, would make a great gift.
