Amazing Budget Sub
I have this mounted under the seat of my 2-door Ram 1500. While it is admittedly a small space, it has plenty of power and much more clarity than my last (more expensive) powered sub. The truck has 6x9 door speakers and 6.5" mids and 1" tweeters behind the seat powered by an 800 watt amp, and the bass doesn't get lost at high volumes. I usually listen to hard rock and metal with the sub at about sixty percent. This unit handles it with great clarity. If you need some low end fill and don't want to spend a bunch of money, check this one out.

Worth the price
So here’s my personal opinion. It’s worth the price. I installed mine under the back seat of my 2012 4 door Jeep Wrangler that had absolutely NO bass whatsoever. It gave me all the bass I needed and more, based on the music I normally listen to. I generally listen to a lot of rock/country music from all the way back in the 50s, up to the newest rock out right now. Sounds absolutely fantastic and has plenty of thump even in a 4 door Jeep. However, if you listen to a lot of rap music that hits a lower bass note, this is not the kit for you. Its power is best in the mid range. No where near a 10” in a vented box, but does give a boost over factory. Quick and easy install, done all wiring and tucking along with tuning the sound within 2 hours. Overall: if you like rock/country music, this is for you. The sound is amazing. If you like rap, there’s a decent amount to be desired here but still an upgrade.

Not bad, not great - better than not having it
Does what it's supposed to do: adds a little extra Bass to the total overall sound while not occupying too much space. FYI, while running at full strength, I measured about 5-7Amps at 12V. I connected it to the same power wires that feed into my radio which has a 10A fuse. Running my radio + woofer at full blast did not blow the fuse. So connecting the dedicated thick wires from the car battery is too much hassle and pointless. This tiny little thing does not draw too much power. As a side note, I have a 2015 Subaru WRX where they sell separately a Kicker subwoofer. The official cable harness for that factory subwoofer connects to the same power cable that feeds into the stock radio. So I did the same procedure with this one. The build is pretty sturdy: closed metallic aluminum casing. It does not have a bass reflex hole - which could have generated a louder sound. I had to connect it to my existing speaker wires, as my radio does not have a separate SW out. The bad part: running the radio at medium volume, you can hear this SW quite loudly. Sometimes too loud for the current volume. However, when increasing the volume on the radio, the subwoofer power does not increase with it too much. It falls behind. So at loud volumes, the subwoofer feels too weak. And again at low volumes, the woofer is too loud and annoying. You would need to constantly adjust the separate SW volume level as well at different volumes - which is inconvenient, especially while having to drive. Because it does not increase its volume too much at high levels, it does not distort the sound - so that is a good thing. Overall I am 70% happy with the acquisition, especially because I did not want to pay $500 for the factory woofer or lose trunk space with a regular tube one.

High quality, sounds awesome
Typical installation for an amp, everything included in the box for low-level RCA input. I did not replace my factory head unit so used my own wire for speaker-level input. Sub fit perfectly under driver’s seat of 2021 Kia Soul. Box made of all metal and is high quality (nice and heavy), sound output is much much bigger than appearance, so perfect for stealthy bass. For optimal performance, speaker should be placed on floor of the vehicle, where possible, as it is designed to use the cabin to reverberate low frequency sound. Cannot beat the performance for the price. This little thing thumps!

Lasted 2 months.
Sounds decent but definitely not as loud as it should be. Let the sub break in at 1/4 volume for an hour or two off and on when driving around. This is now 2 months old and just got back from a long trip and it fully quit. Lights come on but no one is home. Tuned the amp to the head unit and never went past half power on the adjustment knob. Luck of the draw? Maybe. Still would look elsewhere and I wouldn’t buy it again.

Great value and excellent installation hardware
Come with EVERYTHING you need for install. Wire is quality, controls are quality, unit itself is heavy and feels well constructed. Absolutely BUMPs in my 2001 forester under the passenger seat at like half volume. If you use the RCAs, make sure you have both plugged in (if you headunit only has one out, get a splitter!).

It does the job in one small spot!
Not the loudest sub but it does the job of adding good bass to the cabin. Great fit under passenger seat nestled nicely between floor vent and door. One shot addition with no need to find a place for Amp AND Subwoofer.

Just don't give it all it's got
I was really surprised and blown away at the sound quality and the base this thing had when I had it in my car I put it in a truck and I could not get it to sound right and I ended up maxing it out way too long and I blew it up completely fried the speaker and amp even though I put a new speaker in it it still goes into protection mode so I'm going to suggest that you just don't blast the crap out of it and need to be a good addition to your stereo

Si buscas llenar los graves que no te dan las bocinas de rango amplio es genial pero no pretendas que se escuche afuera como si no hubiera un mañana. Es de potencia media
