I use this in my room i have computers It covers any signals to not penetrate my room from my door and dampens sound waves! You will need multiple layers but it is a great material to have ! I lined my backpacks with it and you can line your wallet to protect your cards just always use more then one layer it increases its effectiveness!

I tested it and it does shield. I put my phone in a cookie can, covered it with the cloth, put the lid on and called my phone and no ringy dingy. Did the same with a garbage can, same result. 6 gallon and a 33 gallon garbage can. Protected for both. Update - I did a youtube song (wifi) in a covered 55 gallon drum and it stopped the wifi signal.

Tested it and it shields. Did not shield from Wi-Fi, but effectively shielded from cell phone towers. I bought this for its conductivity and it is extremely conductive which was perfect for my application. Will buy more
