Cybex Gazelle S: The Perfect Stroller for a Twin Family
For a family with twins like ours, finding the perfect stroller seemed like an impossible task, but the Cybex Gazelle S has completely changed our lives. After several months of use, I can say without hesitation that this is the best stroller on the market for families with twins, exceeding our expectations in quality, design, and practicality. Exceptional Quality and Design From the moment you unbox it, you can feel the excellent craftsmanship of the Gazelle S. The frame is sturdy and solid, and the fabric is high-quality and easy to clean. Every detail reflects the meticulousness of German design and a commitment to quality. We paired the stroller with two Cybex infant car seats, and they integrate perfectly. The stroller comes with one free set of adapters, and we only needed to purchase one additional set to easily attach both car seats to the frame, instantly creating a seamless travel system. This modular, all-in-one design has made outings with our twins incredibly convenient. Flexibility Tailored for Twins The biggest highlight of the Gazelle S is its unparalleled flexibility, offering over 20 configurations. Whether you need to use two infant car seats, two toddler seats, or a mix of both, it transitions effortlessly to meet the needs of our children as they grow. As our babies get older, we can switch to the included toddler seats, which can be positioned to face us for reassurance or face forward to explore the world. This forward-thinking design means the stroller will serve our family for years to come, making it a very worthwhile investment. An Outstanding Suspension System: A "Sleep-Inducing Miracle" on Bumpy Roads The sidewalks in our neighborhood aren't perfectly smooth; some are even a bit bumpy. We were initially concerned, but the Gazelle S's excellent four-wheel suspension system was a wonderful surprise. It effectively absorbs most of the bumps, providing an incredibly smooth ride. Interestingly, the gentle, subtle swaying has become a "sleep-inducing miracle" for our babies. They drift off peacefully during our walks, giving us moments of tranquility. For parents of newborns, this feature is simply priceless. Storage and Folding: Convenience with a Small Learning Curve As a double stroller, the Gazelle S offers outstanding storage capacity. The under-seat basket is enormous, easily holding everything we need for an outing. It also comes with a detachable shopping basket. While this might be a useful feature for a family with one child, it's not very practical for us since our twins are always together. However, it’s a free accessory, so it doesn’t detract from our overall love for the stroller. In terms of storage, the Gazelle S folds down conveniently and compactly, even with two toddler seats attached. However, the folding mechanism does require a short learning curve to master; it took us a few tries to get the hang of it. We had to specifically "teach" the grandparents how to do it. This is a small note for prospective buyers: it's worth taking a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the process. Conclusion and Buying Advice In summary, the Cybex Gazelle S is more than just a stroller; it's an indispensable travel solution for our twin family. With its robust quality, flexibility designed for multiple children, and a superior suspension system, it perfectly meets all our needs. Finally, a piece of advice on pricing. We were very fortunate to purchase this stroller for $450 during a holiday sale. Recently, however, we've noticed its regular price on Amazon is around $1,000. The price difference is significant. Therefore, I sincerely recommend that families in need of one plan ahead and keep a close eye on holiday promotions. If you can catch a good deal, you can get this fantastic stroller at a great price. For an investment that will serve your children for years, planning ahead is definitely worth it.

Best stroller of all time
I went back and forth a lot before buying this stroller, and was hesitant because it was not cheap, but I am so so happy I got it. It’s stylish, comfortable, and so practical. There are more ways to assemble this stroller than you could possibly imagine, it folds so nicely, and is insanely durable. We live in a place with bumpy cobble stones and the stroller handles it very well. I was going back and forth between this and the vista, but I am very happy I got the Cybex gazelle for many reasons: 1) the fold- it folds much smaller than the vista, you can fold it with both seats attached, and the seats themselves fold which makes it much more compact. 2) the seats are smaller so each kid has a lot more room. I was nervous my toddler wouldn’t be comfortable because he is 3 yrs old and very tall, but he loves it. 3) it’s not a bulky stroller at all, and when in single mode feels like a regular single stroller. 4) the seats are the same size and same weight capacity so you can have the bigger kid on the bottom and smaller kid on the top (which you can’t really do with the vista).

Twin mom double stroller use
I've had this stroller for a year and a half now. I purchased for my twin boys who started out in nuna carseats and are now in the seats. I've been very happy with this stroller. I get lots of compliments on it and as far as a double stroller goes it seemed like one of the better options. For storage in my car I typically disassemble the whole thing. I can nicely stack the seats together and the frame folds easily. Sometimes it feels tedious but I've gotten very quick and use to it. I like that both seats hold up to 50lbs. Sometimes I hold a baby and let my toddler daughter ride in it. She does look pretty big in the seat. With two seats on it it doesn't seem as comfortable as her singleton stroller was. I use the stroller almost every day and it has held up very good. The seat fabric and straps are good quality materials, I've had no tears and they clean pretty easy. The foot brake hasn't given me any issues and works well. With two seats on the frame it does feel a bit heavy but I'm 5'1 and manage fine. Bonus: I love when I flip the seats in different configurations and people are amazed, even my hubby is like Wow! Feels like the right choice for our family. I do have a double side by side stroller that I occasionally use but for shopping or tight space activities I'm glad I have the stadium style. It did take some getting use to how long this stroller is, it feels like a limo at times but again I get fit 2 kids so I'll take it 😅

Great Quality and Features, but Room for Improvement in Seating Configurations
One of the main drawbacks for me is the positioning of the bassinet and toddler seat. When I place the bassinet on the upper position and the toddler seat below, my toddler has to face inward (toward the bassinet), which I don’t like. It would be perfect if the toddler seat could face outward while the bassinet is on top. On the other hand, putting the toddler seat on top and the bassinet below isn’t comfortable for me—it requires lifting my toddler up, and I can’t see my baby’s face in the bassinet. For this reason, I prefer keeping the bassinet on top, but I wish there were a way to make the seat face outward. Using a car seat with the stroller allows the toddler seat to face outward, but walking long distances with a baby in the car seat isn’t ideal. That said, the stroller has many positives. The quality is excellent, with durable materials and smooth, sturdy wheels that handle various terrains beautifully. I also love that the car seat adapter and rain cover are included, which saves money since I don’t need to buy those separately. The additional shopping basket is a great feature when I’m out shopping with just one child. Overall, the Cybex Gazelle S Double Stroller is high-quality, functional, and versatile, but I’d love to see improvements in the seating configurations to make it even better.

This is the HOLY GRAIL of strollers!!!
I’ve waited to write this review until I knew I tried and tested this stroller in every scenario, and after daily use, running errands, and even traveling multiple times, I can say this stroller has exceeded my expectations! This stroller blows other full-sized tandem single-to-double strollers out of the water, and I’ll tell you why: Materials/Build: it’s a beautiful stroller!! I love the dark metal and leather touches. The fabric is tough, comfortable and beautiful. I love the no-rethread harness so I can adjust to fit my daughter without taking apart the straps. The buckle is easy, secure. Aside from being absolutely gorgeous, this stroller is importantly made from high-quality durable materials all around. The frame, seat, wheels, handles, buttons & adapters etc all look and feel very high-end and high-quality. I know this stroller will definitely stand the test of time. Push: this stroller has BY FAR the smoothest push of any stroller I tested. Comparing to the Uppababy Vista in-store, the Gazelle was even smoother and easier to maneuver. I love the suspension and after 7 months of use, I can push this stroller pretty comfortably even through grass or gravel. Adaptability: One of the main reasons I purchased this stroller is because I wanted a one-stop-shop that can be used from newborn days, second/third kids and beyond. I purchased the bassinet and car seat adapter attachments separately, and they are so easy to attach and use. I’ll throw the stroller with car seat adapter in the car and bring it with me to the grocery store which is SO CONVENIENT being able to leave my baby in her seat for quick trips in and out. The car seat (or toddler seat) can be placed in the bottom adapters to use the included shopping basket in the top adapters. Because I also had the bassinet, I was able to use the stroller from day 1 with my newborn. The wind cover and canopy protected her from the winter air (she was born in January during a snow storm!) I love that the bassinet is a safe-sleep approved surface and can be used with newborns for longer amounts of time so when she fell asleep in her stroller, I could sit outside, enjoy some fresh air and let her nap. As far as using the toddler seat, it can be used from a young age because it has lots of extra padding, secure straps, and a very deep recline. I personally used mine from 7 weeks, and my daughter was very comfortable. (No need to purchase additional newborn inserts!) we took it on a trip to Florida and since she couldn’t wear sunscreen yet, the canopy was large enough to give her FULL COVERAGE from the sun. Another major benefit for this stroller is that there aren’t multiple adapters and seats needed in order to go from single to double mode or change configurations. The toddler seat is interchangeable from top to bottom adapters. A second seat is the exact same as the first, and the adapters are built in on the frame. In any configuration, these built-in adapters are the ONLY ones that you’ll need! This provides the benefit of BOTH SEATS having a weight limit of 50 POUNDS. This is HUGE compared to other strollers in this class. The configurations are excellent including being able to place car seat on top, and toddler on bottom of the stroller. Fold: This stroller folds smaller with the seats on than any other stroller I’ve seen! It’s so easy to fold with seats attached (facing in any direction). The seat isn’t bulky and doesn’t stick out when folded so it’s easy to pick up and put in the car, store in higher-traffic areas etc. the fold itself is a 3 button fold and takes both hands. Cons: there are only a few cons for this stroller but here are all of them: 1- the fold is tricky at first because it requires two hands and three “buttons” in order to fold. You get used to it quickly. I also wish it could be a one-handed fold but I see the reasoning for using both hands for added safety. 2- shopping basket can only be placed on top: I had to put my daughter on the bottom adapter and the shopping basket on top. Now that she’s bigger this doesn’t bother me but I do wish it could be used on the bottom as well as the top adapter. 3- price! It’s expensive but I do believe you get what you pay for in this department. I purchased mine on Black Friday sale and with the registry discount bringing the price down significantly (almost half priced). That being said, I would absolutely have paid full price for this stroller and believe it to be 100% worth it. 4- weight: it’s heavy! About 30 pounds with the seat attached. This is pretty normal for full-sized strollers so it comes with the territory! And that’s it! As a real, first time mom who has used this stroller for 7 months these are my honest unpaid opinions!

Arrived damaged and poor design details
It arrived with scratches on the frame, but we had to accept it due to urgency. During use, the canopy became heavily deformed and feels like it could tear. Also, there’s no drainage hole in the lower storage basket, so water collects and has to be emptied manually after rainy walks, which is very inconvenient.

Great stroller! Sturdy, smooth, and holds a lot!
I’m a first time mom with a now 13 month old. I love my Cybex Gazelle! I’m so glad I did all the research and picked this stroller before my daughter was born. I’ve used it everyday since she was born. PROS: • Quality material: You can tell every inch of this stroller was well made with expensive material • Smooth ride: Large sturdy wheels make pushing this stroller way smoother than others… goes over sidewalk bumps and rocks smoothly • Can hold up to THREE SEATS • Holds the Nuna Pipa RX car seat • Great seat recline! • Can make the seat face forward or towards you • Adjustable handle bar length • Large canopy with a peekaboo flap • Comes with a storage basket (although I personally find this feature useless and never use it) • Under storage basket holds A LOT CONS: • This stroller is quite large and heavy… it’s a bit hard to load up into my jetta car trunk • Takes A LOT of practice to collapse this stroller… If I’m being honest I didn’t feel confident closing it up until week 3… • It is quite wide and large, because of that, I don’t like travelling with this stroller. We went to Japan and this stroller is way too large to take on trips in my opinion. It’s great for walks at home.

10/10 cannot praise this stroller as a double enough
I got this stroller for my 2ish under2, my oldest is 22 months & 34 inches tall & 28lbs. I LOVE that the canopy extends so much (a good 5 inches) we currently don’t need to extent it far, I pulled it up maybe 1/2 an inch, but I’m very glad to know when we do need it, its an option. It is a near flat laying seat; but not flat enough for a newborn. he definitely prefers this style seat over the style of the uppababy. We went ahead and got the bassinet for our newborn, which an also amazing, much nicer than our last strollers & it’s a better size, also fits in the sedan trunk beside the stroller. We prefer the bassinet since we go on longer trips & I don’t like leaving them in the car seat for too long. Although, the car seat adapters are very easy & work with our nuna pipa. The breaking mechanism is VERY nice. Smooth to turn on & you don’t have to fiddle with it. Very sandal friendly. The basket is very spacious as well, I appreciate the high sides & weight capacity. The fold is slightly difficult to figure out but after playing with it for 20 minutes, we got it down good! I went with this one for the compact fold (it fits in the trunk of our sedan, chevy malibu specifically) and the configurations. I like that I can have my newborn on top, most leading brands don’t allow for that. We also love how versatile the handlebar height is, I am 5’2 & my husband is 6’2, it’s perfect for both of us, it gets taller than any stroller I’ve seen. My husband loves using it over a shopping cart when he takes our son to the grocery store as well, as it’s a lot easier to maneuver. The turn radius is actually impressive compared to most strollers I’ve used. I can also turn this stroller as a double with my son on the bottom, with one finger, I am literally not kidding. It’s amazing. I saw people saying they didn’t like that it was missing the bar at the bottom & that it was hard to pop curbs, I do see what they mean but it’s definitely still doable if needed, although I prefer to just find the ramp or have my husband lift the front anyway. I love the color. We also got open box everything, and they were in great condition. Everything was just slightly damaged boxes, not even opened. Nothing was damaged at all or ever used. Highly recommend that if you want to save some! I was so unsure because I couldn’t test this stroller before ordering it, but I’ll probably start looking at cybex for more things in the future, it’s incredible quality. My ONLY complaint is the clip. Not the harness or straps, love both of those. Just the clip. The plastic of the clip seems cheap, it could be higher quality. I don’t think it’ll break or anything like that. Just feels cheap. Overall this is the best stroller in my opinion! Especially as a double, for the compact fold, and affordability.
