Loving this bucket.....
This bucket is just what I needed to clean my 2 inch and round brushes quickly and properly. Much better than the little one I have been making-do with. I use the Bob Ross odourless thinners, enough above the screen at the bottom for the bristles of a 2 inch to be covered. Then for a great finish I use a Bob Ross brush drying rack.......cleaning up is so much easier and quicker now. I keep the lid on my bucket when not actually using it to stop evaporation.

Definitely worth it
This is the third brush cleaning apparatus I’ve tried and by far the best. The first was much smaller (about the size of a cup) and despite having a screen in the bottom, I found I’d spill and splash thinner frequently. I then tried a bigger jar but with no screen so didn’t work. Eventually went for this and it’s been great so far. Despite other reviews saying it’s a bit small, I was pleasantly surprised as it’s a lot bigger than the cup-sized one I bought. The screen in the bottom is a must for cleaning brushes quickly. As others have said, the screen does move slightly but hasn’t been a problem. The top clips on very tightly so I only pop it on gently to avoid spillages when opening it if it’s full of thinner. Other than that, it’s good. If like me, you’ve tried other cleaning containers and been disappointed, then I’d recommend giving this one a try. It’s worth the extra few pounds.

This works as advertised. It saves a lot of mess and gives a loner usefulness to the cleaning solution. It will pay for itself. Recommended.

With some odorless thinner this bucket is a game changer. Combine it with a brush beater rack in a little trash can and your emulating Bob Ross. I bought a different brush cleaner bucket it was completely useless for cleaning brushes. Now I use it to store my 37 ml paint tubes which is a happy accident. The Bob Ross cleaning bucket has a wire mesh raised screen in the bottom that you gently rub your brush on. It let's the paint settle to the bottom and keeps your odorless thinner fairly clean. Every now and then I just strain my thinner through a couple paper towels, I pour it into the bucket I use as a paint tube holder. Afterwards I wipe out the bottom of the bucket and pour my clean thinner back into the Bob Ross cleaner bucket. I have had the same thinner for four months now. Bob Ross says thinner doesn't go bad so if you stay on top of it your thinner can last quite a while.

It is really a little thin and soft as others have said. I keep paint thinner in it for about a month now. No leaks. No self-disintegration. The thinner not being turpentine. I still keep it inside a metal case. You never know. But so far - all is well. The grid does move around the bottom a little. But at the end of the day that isn't actually a problem. It acts as screen regardless. For removing the lid: The bucket as a little plastic nose at the side. Similar to those you might find on plastic mustard cups from the super market. It keeps the lid in place. You have to remove that nose and then you can get the lid off in a normal fashion. And back on, of course. So far no issues with loose fit. Size: If you put in a liter of paint thinner in the bucket (that's round about 34 fl.oz) it will submerge the metal grid about 3-4 cm in thinner. That's about 1.2 inches. Basically perfect for cleaning your brushes without spilling the stuff everywhere. You can properly clean that big 2 inch brush in the bucket. It offers enough room. End of the day: If you don't fancy collecting parts to make your own bucket with a grid inside because you're lazy, like I am, this is a good option.

È un semplice secchio. Ne più ne meno. Per giunta piuttosto piccolo, ogni volta che si scuotono i pennelli per pulirli l’acqua schizza fuori. Non lo ricomprerei. Non a questa cifra.
