Super easy installation from previous floodlight. Took about 25 minutes to install. Great having camera on mains - everything works it’s best!

So glad we found this. We were going to buy a second battery as it’s a pain charging them.Got an electrician to fit it whilst doing some other jobs & it works perfectly. Amazing quality picture from the camera. Great solution.

Purely functionality, these are great and provide an easy way to wire into mains. It was very easy to do so, I simply found a spot near an internal socket, fitted a switched fuse spur next to it (with 3a) and then spurred off that into this.However, these have a major-ish flaw you should be wary of. Even with the little plastic "weather" cover, this is not sufficient if you install this in a place where it is likely to get rainfall. What happens is if you get sufficient rain that can get around this cover, you can get water seep into the USB C transformer and cause that to fail. I went through 2 of these before realising.The solution we have done is to get a camera rain cover above to protect this therefore. Another I guess you could do is silicone around the weather cover and around the USB C connection to make sure, but I preferred putting a cover above.It may not impact many people, but it did us.

This kit from ring is easy to install and is excellent quality.

It looks like this bracket is not very strong as after only 4-4.5 months found the camera hanging on the wall, there’s no way to fix it unless I will but a different sort of bracket, looking for a different sort of bracket as this is useless.And by the way camera is hard wired as probably if I would have batteries in it the bracket could be long gone.P.S I can’t tell that all brackets would last only as long as mine, mine could probably been a bit defect from new.

Nachdem ich die drei Spotlight Pro Solar mit jeweils einem Akku montiert hatte musste ich feststellen,dass dies im Winter sobald keine Sonne mehr scheint und es Richtung 0°C geht der Akku nicht mehr geladen wird. Da die Cam`s in 3,8m Höhe hängen habe ich auch nicht Lust zum Laden jedesmal auf die Leiter zu steigen. Nun habe ich die Festverdrahtungskit`s montiert (Je an einer 230V Leitung). Die Akkus werden sofort geladen und die Cam`s auf "Kabelgebunden" gesetzt. Weiterhin scheinen die Spots heller und die Bewegungsmelderempfindlichkeit ist sensibler einstellbar. Bei Stromausfall gehen die Cam`s auf Akkubetrieb. Vom Preis etwas aufwendiger als Solar. Seltsamerweise haben die vorherigen Reolink Solar Cams damit nie eine Problem gehabt. Da ich jedoch eine Ring Alarmanlage habe, wurde umgerüstet.Jetzt muss es sich im Alltag bewähren.
