Milton Cold Water Steriliser

Brilliant for sterilising baby bottles, so easy and quick!

Used this rather then electric steriliser as we previously had. So easy to use and no need to dry bottles after. Also perfect for taking away with us as doubles up as carrycase for all bottles etc.

I bought this steriliser and the associated tablets as a quick and easy way to keep on top of sterilising bottles. It holds a lot more than it looks and I've used it not just for bottles but dummies, pumping equipment, nipple shields and toys. I love how easy and convenient it is; fill with cold water, add a sterilising tablet and it is good for 24hrs. You can just keep adding to it throughout the day if dummies fall on the floor and the things are sterile and good to go after just 15 minutes. Honestly wouldn't do without it now!

I tried a Tommie tippee steriliser but could only fit about 3-4 bottles in as well as just a couple of lids and teets. Also once you take the lid off it becomes unsterile however with the milton steriliser you don’t need to plug in, you have plenty of room in there for whatever you need to put in and you can leave the sterile water in there for up to 24hours so even when you take the lid off to take something out, everything else in there is still sterile for the next time you need something. This is the best steriliser I’ve ever bought and if I ever have another one I will without a doubt be using milton. Excellent product.

When you're expecting your first child you really don't know what you're looking for, you know you need lots of equipment but which one.Most of the sterilising equipment is microwave-based, which is fine as most people have a microwave. However, until your baby gets here you won't consider that you need A LOT of either nursing equipment (pump etc) or bottles and that a large microwave steriliser is great....except once you open it the things inside won't be sterile for long (yes, even if you close the lid).The other option is to boil, but when you're sleep-deprived and trying to get a bottle ready at 4 in the morning believe me when I say this isn't the safest method!I hadn't even heard of Milton until my wife was on the maternity ward and this was the method used for keeping the expressing equipment sterile ALL DAY.Simple to use: just fill to the line with cold water, pop in a tablet, wait until it dissolves and pop your bottles, pump accessories etc in and 15 minutes later it's sterile.More importantly, leaving it in the jug under the water keeps it sterile so it's good for keeping sterile equipment handy and it's 24 hours before you need to change the water.Simple, portable, unpowered, efficient and cheap: what more could you ask for?

We bought this when we had our first baby and definitely one of the main things we used and will use again. So easy to pop anything that requires sterilising in to it and just leave it until needed again. Just needs one Milton tablet in 5litre of water and that lasts for 24 hours. Perfect for bottles, soothers, teething toys etc etc

Product was as described and delivered fast .The plastic is strong and not flimsy as a mum of 5 I would recommend this product

Wish I cold water sterilised with previous kids, it’s so easy.Just fill to the line with cold water and pop a Milton tablet in.The tank is sturdy and the handle is strong. I often lift it when it’s full with water, bottles etc and haven’t had any issues. Also locks the lid when handle is down one way and unlocks when turned the other way. Took this away on a break recently and was so much easier than faffing about with a steam steriliser.
