Wonderful, inexpensive, great sounding IEMs
I've had a few pairs of "budget" IEMs (50-70 dollar range) over the last couple years, but these are by far the clearest, most detailed pair I've ever had. For around 50 bucks, you get some incredible sound, a cable which isn't infuriating, and stock tips which sounded fairly good to my ears. I ended up replacing them with spinfit W-1's, but that's just my preference. I'm not really an audiophile per-se, but I do appreciate clear, crisp, detailed audio. I especially appreciate it when it doesn't break the bank. Whenever I listen to music nowadays, I find myself reaching for these IEMs, and I have a few pairs of very nice headphones (Grados, Beyerdynamic). I say buy them- incredible value, wonderful sound, super useable in public and at home.

Moondrop delivers greatness again
These are fantastic iems and unbeatable at this price. The first thing I noticed about them was the clarity and detail retrieval. Even though they are clear they are in no way bright or fatiguing. They will however present music the way it is. If the music is mixed terribly these iems will show it. This is not a bad thing in my opinion. Smooth mids with solid bass extension. Zero muddiness. Punches way above its weight in terms of price. Moondrop continues to dominate the space.

Best Neutral Under $80
The best neutral tuning you’ll get below the Hexa. And nowadays, the Hexa is $80 which is just too much for that set in 2025. The LAN is very clear and detailed for its price. I think they could charge $50-60 for it. Of course there’s not tons of bass but it is pretty tight and clean bass, so tldr bassheads stay away. But if you like clean mids and treble with decent imaging, separation and only have $50 or less to spend, these are it.FIT! This set is also great for small ears since it has the Chu body. I personally got the best fit and sound using Dunu S&S tips. The included tips are fine and I thought I would hate the circle Y-split on the cable, but it’s smaller than I thought and doesn’t get in the way. Everything else on the cable is high quality and comfortable.

The "ear shocks" are normal, something I didn't know
Other people who have purchased these earbuds or ones with a metal casing like these might have noticed that it shocks your ears sometimes. It is completely normal, and apparently happens when your body is no longer grounded electrically. For example, if I move my feet off the floor while sitting in my office chair, a tiny, painless but slightly irritating "shock" will occur to my ears. It just happens to be that my body's electrical state has changed and so that affects the metal shell of the earbuds. It's normal.Otherwise, these earbuds are excellent. The sound quality is superb and Moondrop has exceptional aesthetic design in all aspects, even in the packaging. I purchased spring tips for my pair of Moondrop Space Travel earbuds a while back and I will say I recommend them over the tips that the earbuds come with. It keeps the buds in my ears much better.

Gaming primary use.
Primarily got them to play games. I have bad hearing which causes issues with some games like Hunt Showdown where hearing where the enemy is matters. The clarity i was able to get impressed me a lot. I was able to pinpoint two separate foot steps on ground level in mud with pinpoint accuracy. It honestly surprised me when I actually seen them standing where I was hearing them. The sound quality it self is great. This is my first set of IEMs and highly recommended them. They are not super heavy on the bass so if that is a concern this maybe a good route for you. Also music is great as well with these.

Moondrop also delivers
For the price I can’t recommend these enough. They sound so natural, clean, and coherent beats out a lot of stuff at this price point. Also extremely comfortable small shell.

$40 IS THE NEW $80
If you’re looking for an iem that doesn’t break the game and is great for gaming, this is for you. I never write reviews but this iem deserves my first Amazon review. First off, the iem is sturdy and well built with the stainless steel shells. They have some weight on them but not as heavy as a Moondrop aria. The cable that comes with it is nice and I have no complaints about it. I use spinfit W1s as my main ear tips so I don’t have an opinion on the tips that came with the iem.Comfort:These aren’t your typical blocky iem. The shells are small and it sort of reminds me a little bit of sennheiser ie200/300 shells. Once inserted, you’ll never notice it’s there. That’s one of my favorite parts of this iem. Not only does it sound good for my USE, I don’t have that fatigue that I usually get with bigger iems such as the t3 plus. How it sounds for gaming:I mainly play valorant and tarkov but have been on tarkov more lately and these out perform my previous t3 plus by a landslide. I am able to hear exactly where someone is and the soundstage is good on these for both games. Mind you, I never tried high end $1k iems before so I don’t know how premium soundstage/imagining is supposed to sound like but for me personally, with these $40 iems they PERFORM. I have no trouble identifying small details while gunshots and explosions are happening. I’m able to notice someone getting ready to nade or someone healing in the midst of a shootout. I can’t shill these any harder than I already am. Just know these are the real deal for $40 bucks. Conclusion: if what you’re looking for is an iem that is neutral focused and doesn’t have too much of one category, these are for you. If you were looking for something bass heavy, I recommend looking into the qkz x hbb or the wan’er if you were still in the budget range. For gaming, these perform very well. You have to remember these are $40 and will most likely not out perform studio headphones like something from Beyerdynamic but they do perform and are a great pickup as an entry iem and possibly endgame ?
