Simply put, this is a simple but very effective way or restoring your BluRay device to working order.My Sony VAIO was nearly a year old and was becoming very unreliable when playing back BluRay DVD's, after investing in new Pro 11 Corel Win DVD software, the problem remained and I was headed for the Sony shop to get it sorted....then I saw this item on Amazon and thought I'd try it.Results? The BluRay disc loads and plays each time with a 100% success rate and the colours and audio are all fine again, no more dropping out or distortion, older BluRay discs I'd abandoned now play again...welcome back Iron Man :-)My pride and joy, the extended BluRay lord of The Rings looks wonderful...that's my litmus test!Highly recommended !!

This is by far the best lens cleaner i have ever bought... I was suffering a playback issue and also bright scenes were a little out of control along with motion, but not anymore. It's worth putting chapter repeat on to go through a few cleaning cycles because this will do a more thorough job.There is one negative though!...It states Blu Ray on the front cover in large letters, but the disc itself is in fact a dvd and not a Blu Ray Disc!If i had known this, then i would have bought the DVD version which is the same and a few pounds cheaper.An actual Blu Ray Disc would have improved the longevity of the item as they are more scratch resistant, but it still does the job really very well.

This is part of a range of disc cleaners using brush tuffs as an alternative to strip brushes. These appear to be much more effective. This version specifically designed for blue ray states it gets much closer to the lens and has recesses cut into the disc for the brushes to fold back into in useThe end result is it appears to clean much better than the DVD cleaner also Alsop to same family does. So would understand why more expensive but you do not buy many disc cleaner. Recommended for blue ray, if your just cleaning a DVD player I have no problem with the DVD cleaner version and about half price.

However, the sad thing is it didn't resolve the problem I had of my Blueray DVD player not playing BlueRay discs - it would play ordinary DVDs but not blueray ones. I had hoped that the Cleaner would help but it didn't mend anything. Following the instructions on screen though appeared ok at the time and I hoped it would fix the problem.

It doesn't work, but as an experienced movie buff, I can tell you why!The big new advancement in 4k uhd blu ray disks is triple stacking information, especially on those 100gb disk sizes. If like me, you've struggled playing 4k blu rays, it's entirely possible you need to bite the bullet and fork out a new blu ray player. Panasonic UB series more specifically.I was using my PS5 until now, and this product was a last ditch effort to watch those meaty movies (like Avatar 2).I'm returning this product today, please don't buy this if you're in the same boat as me.Time to save a bit more money and get the dedicated blu ray player.

My Blu-Ray Player would only load approximately half of my discs, telling me that there was no disc that could be detected and making skipping noises in an attempt to play them. On playing this cleaning disc every Blu-ray now plays brilliantly with improved colour and sound. It tells me that I should use this cleaner after every 48 hours of use to maintain the present standard.This is advice that I will certainly take seeing the improvement after using this cleaner only once.

I had to buy this about 3 weeks ago when my newly arrived Saucerful of Secrets concert Blu Ray wouldn't play on my high end Panasonic UHD Blu Ray Recorder but worked ok on my more basic LG Blu Ray player. It soon transpired that the Panasonic could not play any Blu Ray Discs but could still play DVDs which pointed to a problem with a dirty lens in the player. rather than a mechanical fault.The Blu Ray Lens Cleaner worked a treat. All one had to do was Insert the Disk, Press Play, watch a short intro and then initiate the cleaning process and a min after the process had finished i could insert a Blu ray disk and everything is working again as it should be. The whole process took about 7 mins.I would definitely recommend this product.

My LG blu ray player was acting up one minute it would read the discs, the next minute it would say error. I decided on this cleaner as it had better reviews the other lens cleaning products. I used once arrived I did think it took to long to get to the cleaning stage, it was like a long introduction before you got to the cleaning menu. There are also other features that will be useful for people who have blu ray player with surrond sound. Since using this cleaning disc my blu ray player has been fine. I am happy with product. The only reason I did not give this product a 5 star rating, is that the introduction about the cleaning disc took to long.Other than that its good.
