It is difficult to find a well made conical sieve. This one was larger than we would have liked but we could not find a high quality smaller one. Once we started using it - to sieve the seeds from harvested and pulped raspberries - we could see how well it worked.

I was looking for a nice, high quality, cone shaped sieve to make my ‘speciality’ soups. I was looking for ages and was going to buy one of the higher priced ones. In the end I opted for this Taylors Eye Witness sieve, which was a mid-range price. I am so pleased I did because it is lovely and well worth every penny.

I bought this specifically for jam making although I use it for other normal things around the kitchen. For jam it is great for catching pips and seeds so you can make seedless preserves. Works very well and is strong enough to push the fruit through without damaging the walls of the sieve. Great value as well.

Good size, great sieve mesh size. Its a mesh sieve so cleaning is a little difficult, but no different to any others.

I bought this for jam making. I used to use a regular sieve which was a nightmare to clean. I used this sieve yesterday and it was perfect. Sturdy and easy to clean. Highly recommend.

Decent quality, does have a slight lip between the mesh which catches food and is not as easy to clean as it should be. But it's good quality mesh with the right size holes

Substantial and well made. Nice fine sieve. Good value. Quite large to store if putting in a drawer.
