It’s probably a great product, but it should be placed in a plastic bag to prevent water damage. These are considered the gold standard for model railroad storage and are priced appropriately. But leaving cardboard boxes to the mercy of the elements is inadvisable. How much does it cost to put your valuable products in a plastic bag?

My HO scale engines are now protected when I go to shows or operating sessions on the club layout.

I was hesitant to order these at first. Around here, we have Axian HO scale storage boxes which hold plenty of trains. I couldn’t find them on Amazon and instead found these. Since I was constantly ordering Thomas And Friends trains and rolling stock for my new basement layout, I had to find something to hold them. I took a chance, bought them, and I’m happy with the purchase. These provide great storage and protection for each train and train car. Once I run out of room, if I’m going to buy more trains and rolling stock which I plan on doing, I’ll order another set. If you’re a collector of HO scale trains, look no further.

The box is cardboard, insert is nice, not sure I like the box handle

I feel that my trains are perfectly safe in this carriers. Depending on the length of your cars they fit 5 to 10 pieces.

Ordered two cases to hold HO train equipment for my grandson. They work well to pad and protect trains from reasonable bumping. Good for organizing.

Si tratta di una scatola con un inserto in morbida schiuma poliuretanica preformata con 5 scomparti. Sembrerebbe quasi sminuire questo oggetto con questa descrizione. Il preformato interno arriva con gli spazi occupati dalla parte che è stata tagliata per garantire che non si deformi, i 5 parallelepipedi sono utili per un utilizzo a parte o si possono lasciare all'interno per occupare gli spazi non utilizzati o meglio si possono tagliare per realizzare delle protezioni per non far muovere il carrabile una volta inserito. Sulla parte superiore poi c'è un ulteriore protezione costituita da un tappo sempre dello stesso materiale che fa sì che la carrozza o il vagone sia protetto su tutti i lati e non entri a contatto col cartone che è di buona qualità. La dotazione comprende anche una maniglia di plastica rossa, da montare, che garantisce che la scatola non si possa aprire quando trasportata in mano come una piccola valigia. Una realizzazione non proprio economica, nel prezzo sono sicuramente comprese le spese di spedizione visto che sul loro sito costa molto meno, ma il totale grosso modo corrisponde. Mi sento di consigliarle ai colleghi modellisti per quei modelli che non hanno più la loro scatola oppure per trasportare in modo sicuro i rotabili quando devono essere trasferiti dalla loro sede abituale.
