Wave Ceptor Illuminator Multi Band Watch

This is such a good watch alongside many many other great offerings from Casio. The size and shape and details make it look good for a lot of situations not too big not too many ornamental elements. Of course, the wave receptor radio is a very nice feature as is the world time. Illumination works well, not as hard to set or set up as some suggested pretty easy, especially with the guidance online. It’s built very rugged probably the most rugged non-G-Shock Casio I’ve seen. I was pleasantly surprised by the overall look and function, especially in tan. Highly recommended great value.

Casio continues to amaze me with value for what you get. For the price, this watch defies G-Shocks by leaps and bounds. Not too long ago, you’d have to be well above $100 to get a watch that has atomic timekeeping, and you still do with many brands. This sub $40 watch therefore is a steal. Like others have said, read the instructions. It’s not hard to set up if you are remotely familiar with Casio watches. In the middle of the night, it will re-sync itself to the exact time and you won’t even notice. Aesthetics are great too. I love the desert sand color of the band with black trim on the case, which is not too big and it’s not small - perfect size. The digits are very legible. The date is a little small but who cares. The backlight is really great too and has a nice orange/amber glow that stays on for a couple seconds after you tap the button. This watch has moved itself to the top of my daily rotation….highly recommend.

What a fabulous watch, love it. It automatically updates time and matches exactly with the computer time, down to the second. It is easily readable, sturdy design and love the calendar date time and dual time features. It is a great watch to have.

Another classic Casio that does as Casios do - work. Some reviewers claim that you can't set the time yourself on these if it can't receive the atomic radio signal. Wrong. You just turn off the receiver in settings from "auto" to "off" and set the watch like any other. People need to learn to read the directions, or, at least, watch a YouTube video, on how to run the watch before leaving negative reviews. So far it's a great, inexpensive timepiece that keeps exact time. Pros: It's tough 200 meter water resistant Atomic auto setting - easy to force receiving. Easy controls World time Shows day of week, month, and time on screen all at once. Easy to hear beeper (that can be muted easily). Inexpensive to own while always keeping perfect time. Light is good and bright. Easy on / off day light saving. Cons: Can't think of any. One of my first watches 40 years ago was a Casio W750 Marlin that I used for scuba diving. Casios were cool then and are still cool now. And yes, that old watch still runs perfectly and has only had 2 battery changes in all that time. Casio's a name you can trust and I'm sure this watch will run just fine for years to come.

Casio has been a mainstay of mine since the beginning of the digital watch's 2nd generation when I acquired one that attempted to measure the temperature c.1987! For the following reasons: 1. Myriad models from the minimalist basic day/time & year that were characteristic of the first-generation digital models from 1978-85 to my favorite; a Gold metal-colored crystal & band that stored 300 names and numbers( a veritable gigolo's "little black book" or a feature a spook could use in case he/she desired a Houdinian Escape!) via a calculator keyboard that could be used as a calculator in its own right, A World Time dossier that included my hometown, Philadelphia, PA as one of the cities! 😎! Indeed, Casio watches are amply appointed with a cornucopia of capabilities and colors which is part of the reason why I still invest my moolah in them rather than the hyper-hyped ballyhooed "smartwatch"! of all the models brought in the 45 years, I've sported wristwatches(including a Casio Royale reboot, which weaned me off a Fossil smartwatch that died in June 2021) This WaveCeptor WV 200R-3A happens to be my first Atomic Synchronous Watch! I got it mostly due to owning a LaCrosse S84107 Weather Station that also Syncs up with the ⚛️🕰️ in Ft. Collins, Colorado. I got that one so that I could avoid the half-annual time switch our society has been engaged in since 1966! Nonetheless, my aforementioned Casio World Timer ended up being embarrassed by the weather station being always -16 seconds behind it, hence the acquisition of the WaveCeptor! 2. The way that the WV200R-3A is designed as well as fabricated with the four screws buttressing a 🌋ic-like caldera in which the mineral glass display rests as well as the 660ft. water resistance gives me some surcease that much like the legendary, fabled, chimeric Timex timepieces; this will continue to be ticking as it resists taking a licking without it becoming as homely as the G-Shocks! Even though there is no way in the 🌎 I would be globe-hopping I don't consider it a waste of 💰💸 to settle for the cheaper straitened WV 58A model because being able to receive the time from 5 of the six ⚛️🕰️ is much better than downloading the signal from merely America & UK(Atherson) Au contraire, mon fere, that capability enhances it's steal of a deal, value for the 💶💰💳💷💵💴! I guess where Casio had to spare the expense & battery reserve is in the length of both the stopwatch & timer, confining the timing to 1hr. vs., 24 hrs. on the 🌏 ⏲️ and 100 hrs? on what arguably could have been 007's(Pierce Brosnan) watch! The model I had in the '90s mentioned earlier! Oh well, there goes timing a Thanksgiving Turkey! All in all, it's decently eclectic with enough accouterments to make ownership of this Casio WV200R-3A timepiece quite exhilarating as well as worth the bread spread to score it!

Es una de las mejores compras que he hecho. Este reloj Casio Wave Ceptor es increíble; excelente valor y calidad. Reloj robusto, se sincroniza (actualiza) muy bien por las noches. Debes dejarlo cerca de una ventana y preferentemente en un segundo o tercer piso, y preferentemente aún apuntando hacia el norte de ser posible. Las fotos no le hacen justicia en cuanto a los detalles ya que en vivo su imagen es bastante buena.

Saat sanki çocuk saati gibi geldi bileğim ince benim kalın bileği olanlara tavsiye etmiyorum zira hoş duracağını sanmıyorum, kılavuzu tr değil ayarlaması multi band 5 özelliğini tam kullanamadım manuel ayarlamak durumunda kaldım. bir çok dil olmasına rağmen ki casio Türkiye'de yarım asırdır pazara sahip ve satış yapılıyor neden halen dil konusunda gerek saatin ara yüzünde göremiyoruz. Casio tr web sitesinde bu saate dair en ufak bilgi yok. Totalde çok bi memnun kalmadım.

Great watch, used to have a similar one years ago & thought the more modern type would be better. Found out I don't need to count steps so have gone back to the WAVE CEPTOR could not be more happy. Comfortable to wear, waterproof and changes time zones so you don't have to, great to get off the plane & not worry about time.
