Q: Are these supports suitable for martial arts?

What martial arts do you do? I instruct kickboxing & do m.m.a I have a few types of knee sleeves due to an old injury. Two are mava & these ones aremainly for lifting as they are heavier which restricts a bit more on the fast kicks. I have lighter mava sleeves i use for mma if they are playing up but it all depends on your injury. If Arthiritis then use lighter ones, if damaged cartilage then ones with holes in front for placing knee cap. Thicker ones are for taking more strain off from heavy lifts

Q: Will they stay in place over leggings?

Make sure you measure the knee to get the right size and also send them email on what size you need.They are the best knee supports I have ever worn wear them throughout the day on a regular basis and the stay on

Do not buy this poorly made product

Poor!! Very poor.. after only three months the seams went on the left knee protector. I sent a message to MavaSport on Facebook and they ignore not just one of my messages but two. Clearly don't value my business. What a waste of £45.. lame!

Very small

These are a very small fit, I would recommend going for a size or two above what you think you need, saying this, the material quality and elasticity check out pretty nicely, well packaged and good looking
