PS4 DualShock compatible.
Bought these to use with my Panasonic RP-HC500 headphones while playing COD WW2 on the Ps4, the mic works a treat, the braided cable looks and feels great too. Would recommend.

Not overly great
I am by no means an audio expert, I can only go by what I hear and I found this cable to fall significantly short on the sound front. Very tinny, flat distant sounding. I tested these on 2 different amps and my phone just to verify it wasn't the source.I personally would struggle to use these as my daily go to cables. But that's just me, and whether I got a bad cable or this is how they genuinely sound, I can't say.The build quality is rather nice however. This would have a bit of a difficult time kinking, and feels good in the hand with the volume controller working rather well which did surprised me, as I was expecting it to feel fragile. It's rapid with the adjustment of volume and I was pleased with this. The pause button does have a slight delay after being pushed of a second or 2, but worked.I didn't test the mic part of it, as the sound quality just put me off using them for a phone call.

Excellent cable
Wanted an audio cable with a remote that works with android devices and this product delivers. Braided cable so it doesn't tangle and a good length of 1.2 m.Use this in the car to let me change tracks without having to unlock my phone or come off navigation. This makes changing tracks legal too as technically you're not supposed to touch your phone screen whilst driving.Has one button - press once for play/pause, twice to get next track, and three times for previous track. There's also a volume sliderOnly one of the Jacks, the one farthest from the remote, has the three black stripes, which means this is the end you plug into your device that needs controlling. Unfortunately this makes the remote less conveniently place, down by the gearbox, rather than by the phone. It's only a minor niggle and one that I think may be common to all these sorts of cables that are really designed for using with beats style headphones. If you want to control an android device in the car using the remote on this I can recommend this cable

Sound buy
Works to connect my 'phone to my Lidl headphones via their "output" socket. I like being able to buy the cable separately because it is usually the first thing to go on a headset. Sure enough, this cable lasted almost 4 months before the mic became unusable. It was used several times per week for its intended purpose, plus a few times as a cat toy, so that's not a bad innings. I immediately ordered the same again for me, the cat's still happy with the old one.The in-line volume control is a short slider and not a remote for an Android 'phone, which I consider mostly a good thing. The little button works as expected.Sound quality is subjectively as good as the original cable. The microphone's sensitivity is on a par with similar mics, I have used it for plenty of calls and had no complaints so I suppose the sound quality is at least acceptable.

Control is on the wrong side?
I bought this to connect my phone to my car as I wanted to be able to change songs quickly, not via a locked device. The controls are next to the output jack which is on the shorter side of the cable, the input jack is massively long. This puts the controls right next to the aux entry in my car, which is pointless if you want to quickly change songs as you have to reach all the way down to where the aux input is and rummage around until you maybe find the control - Meanwhile, your phone could probably reach the back seat still connected to the other site of this cable. At the very least, put the control in the middle of the cable so people have a chance to use it sensibly?! Durable and Overall Decent Cable
This product was bought as a replacement for a faulty audio cable for use with my PC. This new cable is huge step up from what I was using before for a number of reasons:DurabilityThis headphone cable is braided and has a plastic cover right before where the cable meets the jack, stopping the very end of it from bending and damaging the wire.Cable LengthThis cable is much shorter than the one I was using before, this might even be the perfect length for me, it stops the cable from getting snagged on things like door handles and even the wheels of my office chair.Dislikes:The cable doesn't support all kinds of headphones. What I mean by this is that a lot of headphones have a plastic part around where the jack connects to the headphone. This cable's plastic shielding is quite thick even up to the base of where the jack starts, so it won't fit in some headphones. I just trimmed my cable down with a stanley knife and it fits fine.

Excellent quality for the price.
I wasn't expecting that much, but this cable exceeded my expectations and looks better in person than on the 3D renders they feature above. The braided cord is tightly knit and feels good quality. Overall the finish is really good and I like the slightly rubberised texture of the connectors at each end. The volume slider is smooth and has a nice bit of resistance to it, and the microphone is surprisingly clear. No complaints about the audio quality. The only way I'd improve it is for a version with a right-angle connector on one end as I use it with a laptop and that's my personal preference.

Don’t purchase
At first this cable seems perfect. But then it started breaking, the right ear in my headphones keeps cutting out everytime the cable moves. I’ve only had it one day. Returning it is too much hastle for the cost really. So I would suggest not to waste your time and money.
