C2G 2 Port USB 2.0 Hub, USB Splitter

Be wary of what you want to use this dual USB hub for. I bought it to use in the car so as I could charge my mobile phone at the same time as using the other port for something else e.g. media player. Neither port of this hub will charge my mobile phone in the car or when used with an AC powered wall charger, it will however charge the mobile phone when plugged into a PC. A disappointing purchase.

I bought a Pure Evoke F4 DAB radio with the intention of recording to a USB flash drive but also using it as a Bluetooth speaker. The problem is the included Bluetooth adapter and optional USB flash drive both need a USB socket but there is only one on the radio. I did not want to be constantly swapping the Bluetooth adapter and the USB flash drive in the back of the radio so I needed a solution and this is it. It is a 30cm USB cable with a USB plug on one end and 2x USB sockets on the other. So I can now leave the Bluetooth adapter and USB flash drive permanently plugged in. Both recording to USB, and using the radio as a Bluetooth speaker work great. Please note that an original USB port on any device you plug it into can usually only supply 500ma max which is shared between the 2 USB ports on this. So as long as the 2 devices don't exceed 500ma between them you will be fine. Please note you cannot connect 2x USB hard drives unless they are externally powered. Neither can you use this device to charge your phone, tablet etc, as it isn't designed for this. I highly recommend this product which is good quality for a reasonable price.

Bought this to add two controllers to USB port 1 on my ps classic mini. Bought this style mainly because i thought it looked tidier than a 4 port hub. Works perfect, adds a bit of extra length to the cables as well. No noticeable delay, looks pretty good, very happy with the purchase.

Bought this to use with my HP Netbook because it has just one USB port & I prefer to use a mouse than the built-in touch pad. As much of my data is carried on USB sticks or portable HDDs another USB porta was required & this little gadget is worth its weight in gold. It has performed perfectly, permitting access to numerous different USB sticks/HDDs whilst simultaneously allowing smooth mouse usage: the mouse in question is of the HP X3000 wireless variety.The cable is a wee bit on the long side at 30 cm (12 inches) – half that length would have been more than adequate, but this is a minor niggle.Worth every penny of the £9.25 cost.

I bought this hub to use for my Nexus 7 (2013) in car mounting project. Perfect fit and lovely piano black finish !!Unfortunately it will be hidden behind the head unit.Unlike some other connectors it holds USB cables and memory sticks firmly in place, so no worries of getting USB un mounting errors when driving on our silky smooth Maltese roads :) Anyone who has visited can vouch for me ....lolThe cable is thick enough to draw current for charging tablets and phones without getting warm at all. I have also tried it for SDR and was very pleased to see no signal loss or any interference. (Guess it has some very good shielding)If you're looking for a quality 2 port USB hub..... well, look no further.

it works - but very badly thought out design.the sockets are too close to use two at once.which is the whole point of it !only very thin USB sticks will fit ! see pic.even the small one in the pic wont fit with another other as the stick has a 'little fin' which jammed.only buy it all your sticks are v thin.

This was purchased to extend the UBS ports on a Samsung HD TV and was attached using double sided 3M pads to the back of the TV. I now have a USB 64Gb Cruzer pen drive and a wireless mini-keyboard dongle interfaced to a single TV USB port.The quality of this product is good - the casing is a highly polished 2-part component with a good shielded cable running between strain relief grommets into the USB plug. Cable is about 250mm long - great for what I need. Delivery was prompt and packaging good. 10/10

I bought this to replace one I bought in error. This will take data and charge through both USB ports. I do find that the lead can get in the way when used with a laptop that you move about, but if it remains on a tablet desk this will be ideal.
