The colour matches the photos and goes well with my oak furniture and the imitation skirting boards. It's a bit colder colour than varnished oak but still good. It has a satin finish and looks great once applied. I bought it to change the appearance of my IKEA Besta TV stand so now it blends in more with the surroundings. No complaints with the quality, once you peel slowly as you go and smooth it cm by cm, it will be smooth and bubble free. I even managed to stick it to the aluminium handles and it stuck perfectly. Don't use water or window cleaner to apply it like you would with a window film, it looses all adhesion when wet.

Ordered more of this as I decided to do my bedroom wardrobe, fabulous to use,so easy.Cut easy, lovely colour too,my bedroom furniture looks like new.thank you.

I bought this product to cover an old outdated cabinet. The colour is a perfect match for Ikea’s oak veneer finish, which is a definite plus for me (let’s be honest, there can’t be many of us who don’t have at least something of theirs in our homes) and the wood grain effect is as convincing as it could be given what it is. However it is neither the thickest nor the easiest to handle of its kind. DC-Fix, for example, is both thicker and easier to apply, and given the choice I would choose that brand every time. That said, it’s still relatively simple to get a good finish. A few tips: cut with a few centimetres spare all round if possible. Start in a top corner, peel as you go, and use a squeegee to press out bubbles as you work (a credit card is fine for small projects, but a regular bathroom squeegee is perfect. Don’t bother with the kits). Turning over edges is no problem so long as you work slowly and smooth as you go. Using your nails helps to give a nice sharp edge here. If you have to work around raises edges, make a small cut then gently stretch and smooth. A little overlapping is fine, it won’t show up unless you look very, *very* closely! If you do have any small bubbles, you can pierce it then smooth it down. Some people recommend using a hairdryer but I’ve never found this necessary. You can also use a hairdryer to release the adhesive should you need to remove or re-stick it later. Overall this is a very good product, but if the colour or pattern you require is available in DC-Fix, I would buy that one. However, Fablon is still better than a lot of other brands!

Good thickness hard wearing easy to use and wears well. I used it to cover my computer work top and it wears well and looks good. Good for shelves in cupboards as well. A cheap way of covering damaged work surfaces . sticks well

Very pleased overall excellent service and quality

My wife had been on at me to purchase a new desk as my existing one was getting rather worn. Since it was only the top that was looking rather tatty I searched and found this Fablon. It was just over the desk top dimensions so I ordered it and my son, who is a carpenter, fitted it. The result is amazing. The desk looks like new. Unfortunately I didn't take a before photo but as you can see, it now looks 'as new'. Well done Fablon.

I wanted to try and match in my two white draw cabinets to the oak unit I had inherited. I also wanted to cover the board I use across the top of them, which I use as extra flat storage space. I deliberated for quite a while then saw this Fablon in a colour that I considered to be a good enough match. So I covered the board, covered the front inserts on the drawers and I was really pleased with the colour match results. I had a bit left over and came up with an idea to use it: I removed a hallway cupboard to gain extra space on entrance to my hallway. However this area had not had laminate floor put down so I used the leftover vinyl wrap to cover this area. Now I know there is a slight difference in colour, it’s not a perfect match, however it’s pretty good. So all in all I am very pleased with the vinyl wrap. I managed the job I purchased it for and an extra job I hadn’t even factored in. Very happy with the results.

While it seems acceptable, this material is prone to tearing. If the area being wrapped has grooves, the material tears very easily when trying to make it stick within them.
