A Touch of Chaos (Hades x Persephone Saga, 7) Paperback – March 12, 2024

I had been sitting on reading these books for the past three months. I would pick it up and put it down pick it up and put it down. Finally something told me to just read it. As I did, I fell into a world that had everything a dark fantasy Romance is. The series definitely takes you for a ride. There are heartbreaks, beautiful character, arcs, and growth. Hades has absolutely been added to the book boyfriend list. Upon starting the series, it did not realize that it was not a dual point of view. That there were full point of view from Hades perspective. The cool part about those books is that you get insight into pieces that are not in Persephone‘s version. When read together or directly after the other, it makes the series even better than I thought it could have been. I do not normally enjoy reading another book retold by a different character because it’s like reading the same plot all over again. But the way this author illustrates it. It feels like you’re reading an entirely separate book. I highly recommend reading book one and then reading Hades perspective. It is sinfully delicious and gives you a whole different perspective on what was going on throughout Persephone’s time and just how much Hades loved her from the very beginning.

This will qualify as the first official series I’ve completed, and I’m so glad I was able to read every single one of these books. These were so fun and they really checked a lot of boxes and what I like in a good book I mean we’ve got fantasy. We’ve got spice. We’ve got action. We’ve got loss and it’s just well written. I won’t say it was my favorite book in the entire series. I think my favorite might’ve been somewhere between a touch of malice or a touch of darkness, but I genuinely had a blast going through this one and it really kept me on my toes every single chapter. Thank you so much, Scarlett, these books have really made my year. I’m so excited to dive deep until your other stories. This will forever hold place in my heart, though I really am going to miss all the characters.

This whole series has been so good! I’d recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of mythology! Props to Scarlett St. Clair for her amazing storyline and writing

This book is more of a erotica as (never thought I would be saying this) but there was a lot of unnecessary smut. The story was OK and it could've been so much better. You would think that as old as these gods were, they wouldn't act so immature. But what was really disappointing was the ending you would've thought we would've got an epic ending but the way it just happened I was like "oh OK that's it" again if you're into a lot of smut which now I understand why these young readers rate it 5 stars this story could be good to you lol idk

I love this book series! It's a good mix of Greek mythology with a modern twist. Kept my interest from start to finish. It also has so many details that I can go back and read them over and over and still catch something new that I missed the first read.

This book was much better, but I would have like more to the ending. Like what happened to Zeus etc.

Hades & Persephone is one of my favorite Greek mythology couples! This retelling is steamy, swoon-worthy & stuffed full of spice, drama, battles & trials, friendships, betrayals, love, war & death. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this so much!!!!
